Everything Wrong With FANTASTIC FOUR In 15 Minutes or Less

Marvel Comics' first family of superherodom, the Fantastic Four, hits the big screen in a light-hearted and funny adventure. It begins when down-on-his-luck genius Reed Richards (Ioan Gruffudd) has to enlist the financial and intellectual help from former schoolmate and rival Victor Von Doom (Julian McMahon) in order to pursue outer-space research into human DNA. Also on the trip are Reed's best friend, Ben Grimm (Michael Chiklis); his former lover, Sue Storm (Jessica Alba), who's now Doom's employee and love interest; and her hotshot-pilot brother, Johnny Storm (Chris Evans). Things don't go as planned, of course, and the quartet becomes blessed--or is it cursed?--with superhuman powers: flexibility, brute strength, invisibility and projecting force fields, and bursting into flame. Meanwhile, Doom himself is undergoing a transformation.

Fantastic Four featured:
Director: Tim Story
Ioan Gruffudd as Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic
Jessica Alba as Sue Storm/Invisible Woman
Chris Evans as Johnny Storm/Human Torch
Michael Chiklis as Ben Grimm/The Thing
Julian McMahon as Dr. Victor von Doom/Doctor Doom
Kerry Washington as Alicia Masters
Hamish Linklater as Leonard
Laurie Holden as Debbie McIlvane
Kevin McNulty as Jimmy O'Hoolihan
Maria Menounos as the Sexy Nurse
Stan Lee as Willie Lumpkin

The Fantastic Four reboot is expected to hit theaters June 19, 2015.

As bad as these movies were, they're still some of the most visually accurate CBMs ever made.

Panning is done side to side. You TILT up or down. Yeah a lot of people get that wrong but this guy shouldn't.

Despite of its flaw, every casting were still superior than the teenage hipster ones we have right now currently.

@Omegadagod, I mentioned this elsewhere but I recently saw a cut someone did of the first FF movie removing a lot of the cheese bits and redoing the soundtrack with music from XMen First Class. It still wasn't a terrific movie, but it was far better. And 40 minutes long. But the bridge sequence truly was fantastic with tightening up and the dramatic music.

Chris Evans is light years away from this film. And he's better for it obviously. He IS Captain America. Plays the part so well. And he's the best part of Snowpiercer. Really become a good actor

The sins he used to point out how the name of the team just goes popularly known is one of the reasons why I feel that any modern take on the Fantastic 4 would require a non-cheesy way of how they get their name. It's this reason why I'm not losing my sh** that they won't be called "The Fantastic Four" in Trank's adaption. I'd say give it time for the group to become more popularly known for a reason other than a some freaks saving a random person in a fire and everyone isn't a bit freaked out by what they're capable of.

If the remake is said to be more grounded I don't expect the team to be accepted by society as easily within the first film.

Hahahah.
This comment thread gonna be good!

Saw this in the theater. It's bad when you convince your girl, who already isn't a comic fan, into a movie like this and you totally side with them about how crappy it really was.

And Dr. Doom? In my opinion the absolute worst casting of any character of any comic book movie.
Just terrible. Alba is at least easy on the eyes. But this guy? Not only did not look the part but sounded totally out of place wen speaking through the mask. Painfully stupid.

How can anyone watch that clip and then also claim that the bridge scene was fantastic? They destroyed the bridge scene.

Not really. It was something he did just as a project and wouldn't give out copies due to copyrights etc. I am sorry though.

Like I said though, it can only be improved ao much. I was just really surprised at how Mich of a difference it made by changing the music.
