Speaking to Deadline Hollywood, Marvel Studios producer and VP of Production & Development Nate Moore briefly touched on Marvel's Fantastic Four reboot and Captain America: New World Order- two, highly anticipated upcoming MCU films while walking the red carpet at this year's Producers Guid of America Awards.
First up, Moore was asked whether the Fantastic Four or X-Men would be debuting first. "Fantastic Four, Fantastic Four," said Moore. He added, "We have Matt Shakman directing, who’s so talented and who did WandaVision for us, and I think people are going to be pretty surprised by what we’re doing."
Next up, Moore touched on Captain America: New World Order. "Captain America: New World Order, we start shooting in 3 weeks." When asked about what he could tease, Moore responded, "Outside of the known quantities- obviously, Anthony Mackie taking on the role of Captain America [and] Harrison Ford as General Thunderbolt Ross, who is now the President of the United States, [there's] some other goodies in there."
What upcoming Phase 5 or Phase 5 feature film are you most anticipating? While Moore confirmed that the Fantastic Four will be debuting before the X-Men, it's widely assumed that Cyclops and co. will be making their MCU debut in Deadpool 3, which is rumored to heavily involve the multiverse.
