VIDEO: Watch THE FANTASTIC FOUR Trailer Cut In The Style Of INTERSTELLAR

The Fantastic Four trailer dropped earlier today to a pretty mixed response. One thing most people agreed on, however, was the apparent similarity to Christopher Nolan's Interstellar. Now it seems one YouTuber has put the two together - with interesting results...

Regardless of what you may have thought of Josh Trank's Fantastic Four trailer, the movie appeared incredibly different to Tim Story's much-maligned 2005 adaptation. In fact, it shared more similarities with Christopher Nolan's sci-fi smash hit Interstellar - both visually and tonally. Given Marvel's first family's legacy as explorers as well as superheroes, this should have come as no surprise - but it was pretty exciting to see Trank take that route anyway.

On the back of the trailer's release, one particularly creative YouTuber named GunsAndJR has uploaded a parody, re-cutting the trailer in the style of Nolan's teasers - Matthew McConaughy voice-over included. He's dubbed it "Fantastic Stellar". Check it out below, it's pretty inspired...


So, what did you think? Hans Zimmer's Interstellar soundtrack seems to work very well with Trank's footage, once again highlighting the similarity between the two properties. Is this a good thing?
