For any of you that may not be familiar with the movie, here's the official synopsis of the film:

Born of a god but raised as a man, Perseus (Sam Worthington) is helpless to save his family from Hades (Ralph Fiennes), vengeful god of the underworld. With nothing left to lose, Perseus volunteers to lead a dangerous mission to defeat Hades before he can seize power from Zeus (Liam Neeson) and unleash hell on earth. Leading a daring band of warriors, Perseus sets off on a perilous journey deep into forbidden worlds. Battling unholy demons and fearsome beasts, he will only survive if he can accept his power as a god, defy his fate and create his own destiny.

Directed by The Incredible Hulk's Louis Leterrier the film is set for release on March 26th later this year.

I wasnt all that interested in this movie until I saw these images - it looks pretty awesome and Leterrier is a great director so I look forward to seeing this!

Seriously though, I couldnt think of a user name when I joined the site so I just used the same one that I used for stuff like eBay years ago (the 24 part was because that was my favourite show back then, lol!) I just thought that I might as well change it and I've wanted to change my fansite image for a while anyway! :)

I have seen the original but because I used to hate Sam Worthington I never showed much interest in this, lol!

I think Sam would do a good job as Cap but Jensen from Supernatural looks like Steve Rodgers, I think it would be worth the gamble.

I'm starting to get excited for this, but i don't understand why Sam was not asked to grow some hair on his head. His portraying the great mythological warrior Perseus for Zeus sake! Not some piss high army brad!!

Too bad Sam didn't have his long hair like he did during the beginning of Avatar in this movie. Would of made it even sweeter.

I think its just his looks makes people go crazy. And i dont mean "oh hes so hot" crazy. I mean he looks badass and play the superhero type

I'll miss Harry Hamlin (original movie) and his cro-magnon sized forehead...(Honestly, you could show movies on that brow plate!) But I agree, this looks awesome!

I think the tall dude it's the guy who played the last predator in AVP:requiem. Is name is Ian whyte, he has 7'1 feet(2.16 m) :) about his caracter i think is name is "Sheikh Sulieman".. dunno more.

He Actually also played the main predator in the first AVP too. The Guy has great impact on the screen! I have a nice feelin about this movie!... shall wait!

@Keven: my thoughts exactly lol

@Deathwalker: Sam actually is pretty tiny.

And as to the hair, I too think it sucks balls that he doesn't have longer hair, cause it'd suit him + it's obviously necessary in a movie like this. He explained why though: his Perseus should be this non-conformist guy who doesn't let anyone tell him what to do - which means here that he shaves his hair off. Idk, pretty lame explanation in my eyes, but hey, the movie and Sam are still gonna rock.
