Everyone knows the legend of Hercules and his twelve labors. Our story begins after the labors, and after the legend… Haunted by a sin from his past, Hercules has become a mercenary. Along with five faithful companions, he travels ancient Greece selling his services for gold and using his legendary reputation to intimidate enemies. But when the benevolent ruler of Thrace and his daughter seek Hercules’ help to defeat a savage and terrifying warlord, Hercules finds that in order for good to triumph and justice to prevail… he must again become the hero he once was… he must embrace his own myth… he must be Hercules.


Hercules stars Dwayne Johnson, Aksel Hennie, Rufus Sewell, Ian McShane, Joseph Fiennes, John Hurt, Rebecca Ferguson and Tobias Santelmann. The film is set to hit theaters July 25th, 2014.

Will Brett Ratner finally make a real good movie?
Can The Rock be believable as Hercules?
Who knows but I like the sword & sandals type films so I will see it & hope it's good.

Can't ever see Rock as more than the Rock pretending. I love the guy and have been a fan for a long time but I never take him seriously as an actor. I hope this role will change my mind.

ratner is not a hack you fanboys just cant let x men 3 go ratner was in a lose lose situation he got into x men 3 well in to pre production the script was already done and he had like 2 months to prepare when he came on board

matthew vaughn put ratner in that position

rush hour films are very fun buddy cop movies and red dragon is highly underrated

Im sure you meant Bryan Singer put Ratner in that position.

And I agree that you cant put the whole blame on Ratner for X3, he got into the production almost at the last minute and made the best of a very bad situation.

i don't despite Ratner like some of folks on this site ...
I can't actually blame him for X3. They went with Zak Penn script, the movie was cursed before Ratner even sign in. Ratner is just a go to type of guy. He will direct whatever studio will pay him for. Red Dragon, X3. He's just a craftsman. Nothing more.

If you wanna blame someone for X3 you should start with Penn, Rothman, executive producers ...

P.S. i really liked Tower Heist :)

I'm an extra in this movie, and this particular set is really awesome. The Rock is a humble and nice guy.. Ratner is a dick with everyone on the set:P It's going to be an entertaining movie imho. i think they going to push back the release date though, because there will be reshoots in march.
