Resident Evil and Monster Hunter director Paul W.S Anderson is set to re-team with his wife and frequent collaborator Milla Jovovich for a big-screen adaptation of Game of Thrones author George R.R. Martin's short story, In The Lost Lands.
Jovovich will lead the supernatural fantasy tale in the role of Alys, and she'll be joined by Guardians of the Galaxy and Army of the Dead star Dave Bautista as her right-hand man, Boyce.
According to the official synopsis, In The Lost Lands "will see a queen, desperate to fulfill her love, hire a sorceress, Alys. Sent to the ghostly wilderness of the Lost Lands, Alys and her guide, the drifter Boyce, must outwit and outfight man and demon in this fable that explores the nature of good and evil, debt and fulfillment, love and loss."
Anderson also penned the screenplay, and will produce alongside Jovovich, Bautista, Jeremy Bolt (Resident Evil), Jonathan Meisner, through their production company Dream Bros Entertainment, and Constantin Werner. No word on when production is expected to begin.
