When the evil wizard Gargamel chases the tiny blue Smurfs out of their village, they tumble from their magical world and into ours -- in fact, smack dab in the middle of Central Park. Just three apples high and stuck in the Big Apple, the Smurfs must find a way to get back to their village before Gargamel tracks them down.

i don't know if i should admit to this,but when i was little my mum brought me & my brother that album father abraham & the smurfs.

the one song i actually remember from the album was smurfing beer......"beer,beer smurfing beer you don't get drunk & it isn't dear."

i know very sad.

@Marvel72 my mum bought a Christmas Smurfs CD when I was a kid, loved that thing haha

Anyway, I almost forgot that the Smurfs were a French comic strip when they first came out. They're gunna be cgi right? I wish they'd just paint Katy Perry blue and throw her into the film, I'd happily watch it then. And Neil Patrick Harris rules, he'd be a great Wally West in a future Flash movie IMO. Cool Stuff LEEE :)

I really just can't get my head round the idea that a studio approved this.
Live action versions of kids cartoons have a track record of being awful. Why make another one??
