After starring as one of the dwarves in
Snow White and the Huntsman earlier this month, British actor and well-known tough guy Ray Winstone has been offered the role of Noah's nemesis in Darren Aronofsky's (
The Wrestler,
Black Swan) biblical epic
Noah. Despite the director looking at several different actors including former Batman Val Kilmer,
Deadline reports that Winstone is now very close to a deal which they are expecting WILL work out. With a cast which includes Russell Crowe, Logan Lerman and Emma Watson, Noah's wife is now the only major role left to be cast.
Hulk's Jennifer Connelly is thought to be in talks.
