Peter (Levi Miller) is a mischievous 12-year-old boy with an irrepressible rebellious streak, but in the bleak London orphanage where he has lived his whole life those qualities do not exactly fly. Then one incredible night, Peter is whisked away from the orphanage and spirited off to a fantastical world of pirates, warriors and fairies called Neverland. There, he finds amazing adventures and fights life-or-death battles while trying to uncover the secret of his mother, who left him at the orphanage so long ago, and his rightful place in this magical land. Teamed with the warrior Tiger Lily (Rooney Mara) and a new friend named James Hook (Garrett Hedlund), Peter must defeat the ruthless pirate Blackbeard (Hugh Jackman) to save Neverland and discover his true destiny—to become the hero who will forever be known as Peter Pan.

Garret Hedlund's line reads in the trailer are absolutely terrible. I get the feeling I am watching some high school a/v project when I saw him.

You can only hope for whatever reason they chose the outtakes of his reads and put them in the trailer because if they didn't the movie is in for a rude awakening.

I'm with Maximoff. Epic Story. Has potential. Even with a bleached Tiger Lily. (WHY!? GOD WHY!?)

If the movie script sucks then I'm going to be a little worried for Wonder Woman.

Something doesn't make sense about "In the beginning Peter was just a boy" and that is because Peter Pan is a boy. If you read the book he is always just a kid. Even when Wendy is a grandma, Peter is still just a child. If I remember correctly Neverland is in different dimension and that is why people don't age. I believe the native Americans got stuck in Neverland during the 1700s and Peter came to Neverland during WW1. So there really isn't a beginning in the normal sense.

Why is everyone so negative about this movie? It doesn't look terrible it looks like an imaginative fantasy movie. And will you people stop talking about movie having "Terrible Dialogue" what we only see a trailer. If your not interested in a film just say that it doesn't interest you, you don't have to start this bandwagon of shame.

It looks like the people that made this made it with the intent to create a fantasy epic. No different from "A never ending story" or "Labyrinth". You guys stifle creativity when you prejudge these creative work with such hyperbole.
