Awesome, maybe the sequel will have a darker tone. The first one wasn't THAT bad. I think the problem was the villains. Black heart looked like a backstreet boy and his minions were terrible overacting idiots that didn't pose much of a threat.

Cage did just fine, the guy isn't a bad actor. The supporting cast has as much effect on the main character as they do the movie, and the supporting cast sucked.

OK first things first. I have no problem with another Ghost Rider cus I love him. David Goyer is a pretty good director. Now Nicolas Cage is a problem. He is too OLD! He wasn't all that great as Blaze. Fight scenes need to be longer and more physical not just Rider throwing his chains around.

gotta disagree, Cage wasn't bad. the direction he was given was bad. the writing was bad. the movie was made too campy, not at all dark like the comics. i also seem to remember something about the budget being small. nevertheless, cage is a good fit, just needs the right direction and script.

@sagekilz agreed, I mean, I haven't read the comics, so as a random comic lover who didnt read what it was based off, I liked the film. Did it feel like Fox's crappy way of taking out action and not showing ANY amount of blood or something; YES. but i think if they go darker and if Marvel HEAVILY supervises it, I think it could turn out amazing!

the first one was the biggest insult to a comic character i've ever seen.

and no, Nick Cage is NOT a good Johnny Blaze. Cage plays the same part in EVERY movie he's in. Kick Ass being the exception.

I don't know where people get the idea that he was a good fit for Blaze, because the guy acted nothing like him in the movie. Maybe thats part of the writing staff's fault more than Cage, but either way, like Deadpool72 said, he's always gotta have that stupid, "witty" "stoned elvis" humor in all his movies. Sorry, but Blaze is not like that at all.

we need to hire some hackers so we can steal/destroy all the equipment and the scripts requird for the film in the next few months. and when thedeadline comes sony wont have anything and the rights revert to marvel lol!!! but seriosly smething needs to stop fox and sony from filming there stolen marvel property projects. either disney i convienced anouth to buy them back themselvs or nic cage hugh jackman andew garfield marcc webb matthiew vaughn robert rodrigrez and any actors/directors for fox and sony's cbms will join the fans cause and drop so suddenly that fox and sony cant find replacments and they are forced to scrap the projects(like whedon and wonder woman at wb) and ultimatly give the rights back to marvel/disney and we will get a united marvel universe like wb/dc. doubters dont beleve me "cough" "cough" "corndog burgler" "cough" "cough"? well then get ready to be proved wrong because a diney has sh*t load of mony
b sonner or later marvel find out that they cant go on with there continuity with out spidey and company x-men and company f4 and company and dardevil and company.
c there probably secretly planing it right know and fiege is covering it up like renner did with hawkeye. afterall namor is more or less at marvel now sooner or later it will be official.and we all know how suprise we were at sdcc when fiege anounced the punisher was back at marvel.in fact prepare your self for chigago-con or any other con leading up to sdcc 2011 when fiege will inevitibly anounce blade and company back at marvel after the last film was in 2004 and the fact that thers no new films proves new line is finished with the proporty. so dont be suprised marvel getting all there property back and a united film universe like dc is only a maqtter of time.

So you've never seen "Leaving Las Vegas", "Matchstick Men", "Face Off", "Gone in 60 Seconds", or "The Rock". All good movies. Especially THE ROCK!

How in the hell does Cage get his roll back? He was a terrible Blaze and the movie almost bombed completely. Norton gets tossed aside like an old pair of underwear and he not only nailed his role, but the movie was a huge success.WTF?
