StrangerX- I agree. Aside from Cage's hair, everything else is looking WAY better!

Cool, this movie is looking a lot better than the first one so far. If nothing else, you can guarantee that it'll be a great action movie with Neveldine/Taylor at the helm.

Apparently the screenplay is adapted from a story by David Goyer. That's promising.

gibbyblaylock- That and the fact that he's not directing makes this film that much more promising.

So the monks are in the movie to have more bald people and try to passed the enormous forehead of Cage unnoticed?

Shaman: Nick Cage has hair? ;P

Seriously though, I know everybody dislikes the first Ghost Rider movie but I have to say I liked it for the same reason I like Fantastic Four 2. I think they nailed the look for Ghost Rider on film the same as they nailed the look for The Silver Surfer.

Yes, I know thats not alot to go on given the scripts and acting in the two movies but DAMN, they are so cool to look at that I forget the movie has no other redeaming qualities.

Hawksblueyes- I know what you mean. The same could be said for plenty of CBMs like Judge Dredd, Spawn, The Shadow, Daredevil, both FFs, Superman Returns, Batman Returns, etc. None of them were good adaptations and/or films but all of them have something worth watching in my eyes. Occasionaly i pop them in the player ;)

i think it was good idea moving to europe it might help and story sounds promising aswell, and with the directors of crack on this, the movie should have some good action but i am still going to be a bit cautious about this one that is untill the trailer hits

@deadpool72

wait until this movie fails and then Marvel Studios can make a proper reboot. Let Nicholas Cage have his Ghost Rider franchise for the minute

@ hawksblueyes: I agree with your statement that those characters look good, but looking good does not a good CBM make.

Nothing wrong with Cage, and I've noticed he seems to respond well to criticism.

Anyone still worried about him must not have seen KickAss

You go back and watch the greats - Moonstruck, Snake Eyes, Bringing out the Dead, Con Air, Face Off, Leaving Las Vegas, and Adaptation, and you remember what the guy is capable of. I believe in him pretty well, and think he'll point it this in the right direction now that he has so many great CBMs for reference.

From what I know Cage signed on to the original Ghostrider like gangbusters, because he is a huge CB/M fan. Man that director screwed it up... had a great cast too.

And Cage has been very careful ever since searching for the perfect roles, with Kick Ass being one of them.

Ghost Rider is an excellent character with so much potential; if they screw this one up, then we can give up on him.
