G.I. JOE: RETALIATION Gets a PG-13 Rating

New information coming out about the first trailer and the film gets a rating according to its Director.

Alberta Film Ratings has posted some information regarding the first Trailer for G. I. Joe: Retaliation.

The first trailer will get a PG rating and will be shown in front of movies that are rated PG.

The running time for the trailer is 2:25 minutes, which is similar to the running time of the trailer shown at the Hasbro’s 2011 Investor Day.

Director Jon Chu confirmed on his twitter page that the film will receive a PG-13 rating.

@jonmchu: FYI we will be PG13 but trailers need to be PG rated so they can go in front of movies for general audinces...




Jon Chu takes a crack at G.I. Joe in this sequel to Stephen Sommers' blockbuster 200 film. Dwayne Johnson stars as Roadblock in the film, with Channing Tatum returning as Duke, the leader of the Joes, and Ray Park joining them as mute ninja Snake Eyes. Bruce Willis, Ray Stevenson, Adrianne Palicki, Jonathan Pryce, Lee Byung-hun, Elodie Yung, and RZA co-star. The film hits theaters June 29, 2012.

Yeah why are all the top Cobras missing from this movie??? I thought the first movie was ok until the last 30 minutes or so.

Sienna Miller and Rachel Nichols were GREAT!!! Yeah it would have been nice if Baroness had an accent and if she stayed evil, but I thought both of them did an awesome job!!!

I hope they are in the movie!!!

Being more of a Joe fan growing up than a Transformers fan, I have to say that 'Rise of Cobra' completely SUCKED!

Because of the shite I had to sit thru, I won't bother with this one. Just can't stomach it.

Channing Tatum is an awful casting choice for Duke. However, let's not forget in the first movie they cast Marlon Wayans as Ripcord. Whoever Cast Marlon obviously never heard of a film called Dungeons and Dragons. Maybe Marlon left that one off his resume.

The cast list sounds pretty awesome...except for Tatum.
I agree with Minghagz on this one.

Channing Tatum = G.I.Joe: Retardation. Should have been re-cast.

I wish Channing Tatum and Marlon Wayans were not in this movie because they were the worst part about the first movie. Everything else was cool especially Ray Park as Snake Eyes.
