For some reason, I can't get myself into this show. I loved the idea when I first heard about it, but being that I've never been huge on GI Joe, it's just not doing it for me. It looks like it has some cool SFX though. Time will tell I guess.

Looks good, but I made the mistake of watching the Transformers trailer first, and this one looks a little weak, but I'm still gonna see it.

I've made peace with the fact that this is a whole new incarnation of 'Joe (and I've read the script to boot), so I'm pretty pumped about this movie.

This, transformers 2, T4, and Star Trek are going to make me a very happy camper this year.

I'll go to see this movie, but MAINLY for the fights between SNAKE-EYES & STORMSHADOW! I've always wanted to see what a live-action fight with them would be like? :)

I must say, from some of the bashing i heard before we saw the teaser and this (i liked the teaser), i thought it was going to be some crap movie. Though the trailer...

Now i have to admit i'm a fan of mindless action so thats why i'm probabliy quite excited to see this movie. There are some 'fake-looking' 3d scenes like the silver-plane thing that lands (with some of the joe members?) and i'm also growing tired of the 'Putting together a Special Team' thing, though for this i wont complain as after all (if i remember correctly) GI JOE is a team of specialist guys.

I'll see it as soon as it comes out :P

Wow... You guys are gonna hate me... But... meh...

Don't get me wrong, it doesn't look as bad as it originally did, but it doesn't look impressive either.

I think I actually liked the fact it looked like it was gonna be so horrible in the first trailer. I wanted it to be as campy as the cartoon. :)

So from this trailer we know that Dr. Who teams up with MASK to spew green slime on France, and he can only be stopped by Exo-Squad... Does that sum it up?

I'm sorry... I know I'm a jerk. ;P

I do have to say, I love the way Chris Eccleston's character is playing out... I hate that it's Destro though... Just doesn't feel Destro to me, at least not yet.

Wow That was the first thing I thought off, I was like man its so lame there all in these same black outfits, then they show the mech suits and im like damn now there all in some Exo-squad suit this is going to be lame. by the way I just got Exo-squad on DVD is why it was on my mind.

I agree with FalconX2 on all points but at least the trailer shows what were exactly gonna see in the movie and they're not announcing "this movie is gonna be the best" or "fans will love what we'll do" unlike a certain film.

After Fox's Dragonball and Wolverine, im juz glad Transformers 2 and GIJoe doesnt belong to em as well.

BTW, i dont think the exosuits will be worn all throughout the movie. It might be some modifications that they have to use to keep up with Cobra during the last third of the film or so.

Cobra Commander is the guy who starts off the trailer calling for the missile launch (i forget the actor's name) but i read somewhere that towards the end of the film he might get scared and end up wearing the mask but he is deff Cobra Commander -----Idk how i feel about this movie i think its going to be to cheesy and im sure the dialog is going to be terrible and the action is most likely going to be to over the top and the CGI looks to unrealistic to me

I only want to see Snake eyes and stormshadow do their thing, otherwise, I think it's utter crap. Giant underwater aqua land? Uber metal eating nano goo and the delta suits are just lame. Cool idea, but I just don't see it for this flic. The cobra soldiers look badass though... Unfortunately, I feel they ruined G.I.Joe for me...

Its funny how alot of ya said this is gonna bomb an be crap at first an now changed ya tune lol! : D ... Ive said from the start this movies gonna be a good movie and its looking more like its gonna be true!!! Who wouldn't wanna see SNAKE EYES VS STORM SHADOW on the big screen? Come on??? Yeah the reason we don't get to see COBRA COMMANDER is because his whole costumes lame an looks like something out of STAR WARS/TREK!!! Hopefully we get the real classic outfit near the end, though saying that DEADPOOL (From Wolverine) was still pretty lame and infact worst than i thought he'd be!!! But all in all this is gonna be fun!!! I just wish they'd put a JOE cameo, even if its for a few seconds in the new TRANSFORMERS movie (we can feel more that they share the same world), an so in a few years time we get a GI JOE VS TRANSFORMERS on the big Screen!!!

I finally figured out why none of the changes made to these movies(wolverine,x-men,spiderman etc etc) bother me. I can't Freaking remember any of it..... must have smoked way to much dope in my teen years. But anyway, trailer looks good, another great saturday morning popcorn flick. P.S anyone see wolverine yet....in an actual theatre??

Hey man, to answer your question about snake eyes and storm shadow. In the comics, it has always been Snake Eyes vs. Storm Shadow. In the cartoon Storm Shadow always fought Spirit and Quick Kick like you said. The writers couldn't figure out how to have a character that is mute interact with Storm Shadow in a fight without talking or just to have witty dialogue back and forth. That is also the reason Scarlett is the love interest of Duke in the cartoon. In the comics Scarlett and Snake Eyes have always been an item.

This looks great and will be a winner movie. What is with the bionic Halo suits?? Why are they all, both G.I. Joe and Cobra in the same black suits?? Wouldn't that be hard to tell them apart?? LOL!

X-Men Origins: Wolverine SPOILER!!!!!

I watched the movie last night for the second time. (Our theater got two reels, and appearantly they both had different "alternate endings", go figure.)
Anyway, after the credits they show a scene at the end where you see Ryan Reynolds coming out of the rubble to find Weapon XI's body. Confused? Appearantly Weapon XI was NOT the original Wade Wilson! He picks up the head, then looks at the camera and says "Shhhh!"
(I peed a little.)

BTW: The first time I watched the lame theatrical ending with Stryker where he gets picked up by MP's saying he's responsible for the Major's murder...
Anyone understand what the significance of that scene was? I didn't get it.
