Felicity and Barry Allen CW Arrow

"The Scientist" airs December 4th at 8PM PST/EST on The CW.

"BARRY ALLEN COMES TO STARLING CITY — A seemingly impossible robbery at Queen Consolidated’s Applied Sciences Division brings Central City police scientist Barry Allen (guest star Grant Gustin) to town. Citing a similar case back home, Barry offers to help Oliver (Stephen Amell) and team with the investigation. Oliver senses there is more to Barry than meets the eye, but he’s distracted by the similarities between this current case and something that happened on the island. Meanwhile, Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) takes a liking to Barry, which doesn’t go unnoticed by Oliver. Sin (guest star Bex Taylor-Klaus) asks Roy (Colton Haynes) for help when a friend of hers goes missing. Roy is surprised when Thea (Willa Holland) not only encourages him to help, but joins the search. Unfortunately, Sin’s friend is connected to Brother Blood (guest star Kevin Alejandro), and their search ultimately gets one of them seriously injured. Michael Schultz directed the episode with story by Greg Berlanti & Andrew Kresiberg and teleplay by Andrew Kreisberg & Geoff Johns."

If Arrow doesn't connect to the DCCU, I'm gonna be pissed! After years of nothing, they come at us with IMO a great feature (Man of Steel) and the best superhero tv show ever and now they don't wanna connect them? I think their saving the announcement for Comic Con or the Arrow finale. Hope I'm right.

[frick]ing WB, they're idiots not to make this show canon.

I don't get why so many people want Arrow connected to Man of Steel. So you want this version of Oliver Queen & Barry Allen to be canon. When if they are not you could see Deadshot played by someone else and in the Deadshot outfit.

Another thing is you could see an older Version of Green Arrow played by someone like Josh Holloway. Plus even though I really enjoy Arrow not many people watch CW.

Arrow gets around 2 to 3 million viewers which is okay for the CW but when other channels get a lot more I doubt WB would want this connected.

Plus if they are in the same universe you have to make sure you don't walk over each others shoes. So with them not being in the same universe you get more freedom to do what you want with the show. So for me I would prefer the creators of Arrow to have more freedom with Arrow then less.

i dont understand why people want Arrow to be connected to the Man of Steel Universe. how the f**k u going to explain a character like Arrow killing so many people in his show.

@Interestein

WB is smart to not making this a cannon. Arrow is too much like Batman.

I actually think WB is doing the smart thing and waiting it out, we all want it to be connected, but if this Gustin kid fails as Flash then I would be against that idea.

at no point in that interview does that guy deny crossover involvement.
he's very careful with his words. yea he asks which characters to use and hear's which he can't, but that sounds more like an act of coordination not a dissolving of such.
you will see Amell's Ollie watch Zod's message in the next season or so. guaranteed.

more is riding on this new Barry Allen than on Arrow.

@jazzman

how do you explain MoS destroying a city? I rather like the non-idealized beginnings of both MoS and Arrow. Learning to be a hero is more compelling than just being born one. Ask Nolan's 3 part Batman series.

I remember hearing that WB/DC was waiting to see how well people liked The Flash in Arrow before deciding if they'll connect the universes. So I'm guessing that if he's a success, and his new TV show does really well... then maybe they'll use him in Justice League. So I'm still holding out hope.

please dont make it cannon! Gustin may be decent for a TV Flash but thats it. and the fact theyre making up a different origin is stupid.
