New Extended Promo For ARROW Ep 1x12 'Vertigo'

Has a very Batman/Scarecrow feel from Batman Begins. The episode will feature a fresh take on DC Comics villain Count Vertigo as well as more flashbacks to Oliver's time on the island.

And unless my eyes deceive me, it looks as if Oliver will be forced to go toe-to-toe with Deathstroke during the island flashbacks. We obviously know that he managed to get away but from what's been revealed so far, that escape seems highly improbable. And what do you think of the teaser for Seth Gabel's performance as Vertigo? There's definitely some influence from Batman Begins here, which the showrunners have acknowledging as being a basis for Vertigo's character. From the brief footage shown below, it works. Catch Arrow on The CW Wednesdays at 8pm EST.

Also, be sure to join the discussion and vote in the poll for last night's episode, 'Trust But Verify', it was a good one.

SETH GABEL (“FRINGE”) GUEST STARS WHILE THEA FACES PRISON TIME — Thea (Willa Holland) is in trouble with the police after she gets caught using a drug called “Vertigo.” Oliver (Stephen Amell) thinks the only way to keep her out of jail is to find the dealer, a man who goes by the name of “The Count” (guest star Seth Gabel). Oliver turns to McKenna Hall (guest star Janina Gavankar), an old flame and current Vice cop, for help. Meanwhile, Laurel (Katie Cassidy) steps in to defend Thea, and Felicity (guest star Emily Bett Rickards) gives Oliver some disturbing news about Moira (Susanna Thompson). David Ramsey, Colin Donnell and Paul Blackthorne also star. Wendey Stanzler directed the episode written by Wendy Mericle & Ben Sokolowski (#112).

This is a great show! I would love to see Amell's Arrow in the Justice League movie some type of connection!

i really do like this show but they need to stop being budget nolan characters/creations/ideas etc. i know the creators said they are inspired by the nolan universe but it just seems like they're coping that universe jus because it made shit loads of money. they can take it in their own original direction...even if it is more risky because nolans univers is more like to bring in the bucks.

show keeps getting better. maybe not introduce so many bow/crossbow peeps all at once (Huntress/Dark Archer and Arsenal coming soon).

this Arrow should be part of the JL movie.

now lets get Amazon up and running as an origin with tons of mythic goodness, and a Flash show (not that it hasnt done in the past) we'll be in business.

Oh and shoot Ryan Reynolds out of cannon and replace him in Green Lantern. He is like syphillis to cbm's.
