Official Description Of ARROW Season Two Premiere Released; "City Of Heroes"

The CW have released an official description for the upcoming season two premiere of Arrow, and it not only fills us in on what all of the main characters are now up to, but also reveals what (or should that be where?) exactly Oliver Queen has up to in the months that have passed since the season one finale!

FROM VIGILANTE TO HERO — Diggle (David Ramsey) and Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) travel to Lian Yu in search of Oliver (Stephen Amell) who left Starling City after The Undertaking. Convinced to return home, Oliver finds that things are in worse shape than he thought – Isabel Rochev (guest star Summer Glau) is preparing a hostile takeover of Queen Consolidated, Thea (Willa Holland) refuses to visit Moira (Susanna Thompson) in jail, Roy (Colton Haynes) is trying to fill the void left by the Arrow’s absence, and Laurel (Katie Cassidy) is working with the District Attorney’s office to take down the vigilante. Meanwhile, flashbacks to the island show Slade (Manu Bennett), Shado (guest star Celina Jade) and Oliver in a desperate situation. John Behring directed the episode with story by Greg Berlanti and teleplay by Andrew Kreisberg & Marc Guggenheim (201).

Well, the Green Arrow comics already did a storyline similar this. And it was released way before Nolan's overhyped TDKR.

And why is laurel trying to take down the vigilante after all the isht they went through in the first season? Sure tommy died but that wasn't arrows fault and he tried to tell everyone what was going to happen. Laurels a dumb bitch and that's how I feel about her. She was hotter as a demon.

Rises came out last year when Arrow did. Rises had no reference to copycats. The Dark Knight was partially about the copycats, which came out... in 2008. Unless they started writing Arrow (comic storyline also) over 5 years ago, I highly doubt they had the idea first.
