Fan Cast: Green Lantern Corps (DCCU)

The other day I put together a fan cast for Spider-Man in the MCU. Now, I've decided to give it another go, this time with the DC/WB property, Green Lantern. Check it out!

First off, instead of another Green Lantern earth based movie, I think they should do a Corps series. It would make for a much more interesting trilogy, and since the success of Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy, wouldn't be too big of a risk. I'd start off with Green Lantern Corps (loosely based on the Sinestro Corps War), followed with Green Lantern Corps: War of Light, and finally Green Lantern Corps: Lights Out or Blackest Night. Now, on to the cast:

1.  Hal Jordan - Chris Pine (Star Trek)

NOTE: I know Chris Pine isn't the most original pick for Hal, but dammit, he is the best choice.

2.  John Stewart - Rockmond Dunbar (Prison Break)


3.  Guy Gardner - Jack O'Connell (Unbroken)


4.  Kyle Rayner - Jamie Dornan (Fifty Shades of Grey)


5.  Sinestro - Kim Coates (Sons of Anarchy)


6.  Carol Ferris/Star Saphire - Emmy Rossum (Shameless)


7.  Kilowog - Kevin Michael Richardson (Green Lantern: TAS)

NOTE: KMR, is one of two voice actors from the animated series I've used for this list. Reason being, I just can't see any other voice coming out of these character's mouths.

8.  Hector Hammond - Michael Sheen (Underworld)


9. Bleez - Amber Heard (The Rum Diary)


10. Alexander Nero - Domhnall Gleeson (Star Wars Episode 7, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows)


11. Relic - David Labrava (Sons of Anarchy)


12. Tomar-Re - Christopher Plummer (UP)


13. Arisia - Alison Brie (Community)


14. Arkrillo - Ron Perlman (Hellboy)


15. Karu-Sil - Olivia Wilde (Rush)


16. Feena Sik - Malese Jow (CW's The Flash)


17. Amon Sur - Tyrese Gibson (Fast 7)

NOTE: Tyrese really wants the role of John Stewart. However, I don't really want him for that role, this way he at least gets a part in the film.

18. Ch'p - Carlie Day (Pacific Rim)

NOTE: Charlie Day was actually my original pick for Rocket Raccoon back before they cast Bradley Cooper.

19. Atrocitus - Terry Crews (The Expendables)


20. Larfleeze - Dee Bradley Baker (Green Lantern: TAS)

NOTE: This is the other voice actor from the animated series.

Some of these are good, but Kyle Rayner needs to be a lot younger. Who ever ends up being MARVEL's runner-up Peter Parker can then cast as Kyle Rayner, like Logan Lerman.

Some of these are good but imo, as Pine has already said, he won't be playing a superhero for a while now.

These are good choices.

Hope they someday do GL justice on the big screen.

It could be the new Star Trek.

To me GL is kinda more like Star Trek, and GOTG is more like Star Wars.

But I like both.

@KingNTheKong - if i'm being honest, I really didnt like my Atrictus either. Only reason I picked Crews is cuz i wanted Artictus on the list but I kept coming up blank on ideas lol. Hes got the look but the voice isnt right. Help my find some one else and i'll change it.

Pretty hit or miss for me. I know Chris Pine is the perfect Hal Jordan, but we all already know that...

I like your choice for John, but your Guy Gardner and Kyle Rayner choices are way off. Scott Caan from Hawaii Five-O is my choice for Gardner

Emmy Rossum, Kevin Michael Richardson (he IS Kilowog) and Charlie Day are all great choices for their roles. And I like Allison Brie a lot, but she's too old for Arisia

I will never understand why people want Chris Pine for Hal.....

Flash he would be good for but Hal? I just don't see it. I always went with Bradley Cooper as Hal.
