In a universe as vast as it is mysterious, a small but powerful force has existed for centuries. Protectors of peace and justice, they are called the Green Lantern Corps. A brotherhood of warriors sworn to keep intergalactic order, each Green Lantern wears a ring that grants him superpowers. But when a new enemy called Parallax threatens to destroy the balance of power in the Universe, their fate and the fate of Earth lie in the hands of their newest recruit, the first human ever selected: Hal Jordan. Hal is a gifted and cocky test pilot, but the Green Lanterns have little respect for humans, who have never harnessed the infinite powers of the ring before. But Hal is clearly the missing piece to the puzzle, and along with his determination and willpower, he has one thing no member of the Corps has ever had: humanity. With the encouragement of fellow pilot and childhood sweetheart Carol Ferris (Blake Lively), if Hal can quickly master his new powers and find the courage to overcome his fears, he may prove to be not only the key to defeating Parallax... he will become the greatest Green Lantern of all.

Oa looks better here than in the footage. It looks kinda purple or pinkish in the trailer.

Yes they have used the EW head quite a few times but as this is actually the first official movie poster released to advertise the film I'll forgive it. I mean that is of course unless cinemas in your areas are pinning up copies of Entertainment Weekly, kids merchandise or console game cases to promote the film.

I really like the look of the suit too. You can see the muscle striations and almost the anatomy of Hals body, with a very alien feel to it. Still some work to do on the suit and especially the mask, but all in all i am completely happy with whats been shown so far.

You Green Lantern nerds need to grow the [frick] up and get out of your mothers basement. THE CGI IS NOT that much better. They did fine tune and change some colors on other characters and aspects of the movie but Hals CGI STILL SUCKS! Open your blind eyes and SEE! You guys are so balls deep on Green Lantern's dick you refuse to see anything.

This whole Green Lantern Vs Thor thing is just Bull Shit. It just depends on what kind of genre you like better:
Those that like Science Fiction: aliens, spaceships, and laser guns are going to like Green Lantern better.
Those that like Fantasy: Fairies, Elves, and Unicorns are going to like Thor better.

Ven0m, Xenix and Skyh00k obviously likes fairies and unicorns best and thats ok.

You idiots seem to think that I don't like Green Latern. That is not it at all. I like both Marvel and DC I want both to succeed but you DC fan boys get a woody way to easy. Its not your fault its DCs fault for giving you only Batman and Superman. However this movie should really consider pushing its release date back because by the looks of it. This movie IS NOT READY! Thor and Captain America are ready and they both look good. Seriously hope they fix Hals before this movie is released and then you can say you will have a good GL movie.

@TheManWhoLaughs stop being ignorant look at the film itself and tell me with a straight face the cgi doesnt suck and me I really want to like this film but they havent given me much to like and its starting to look like a ben 10 live action film.
