Merc, how can you like the 2004 Punisher? It completely retuned the Welcome Back, Frank storyline. One of the worst adaptations of all time.

War zone had the violence but too crappy of acting.. it was like Ghost Rider... If acting and directing was good those movies would rock. Thomas Jane was the best Punisher, just wish the movie wasnt so slow and John Travolta didn't make a good Howard Saint. But I would love to see a new Punisher movie with Thomas Jane and a good director/script.

Thomas Jane did a solid job in a better movie than War Zone. 2004 Punisher was great & bad all at same time. Weird.
Ray Stevenson was perfect as The Punisher,action was brutal & cool but overall film was a mess.
Hope someday a great Punisher movie is made.
