We recently learned that Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will arrive at Digital retailers on July 7 and on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD on August 1.
The movie is going to come bundled with eight deleted scenes, and two of those have now found their way online (officially). The first sees Drax give Star-Lord some interesting life analogies and metaphors, while the second shows Behemoth bringing some not-so-good news to The High Evolutionary.
War Pig is dead...and he has her head to prove it!
The deleted scene fans are most excited to see from the threequel will also feature The High Evolutionary, with it revealing what became of the villain after Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3's final battle. We'd all suspected he'd been left to die until an eagle-eyed fan spotted Drax carrying him off the ship and filmmaker James Gunn would later confirm he's imprisoned on Knowhere, a moment this scrapped sequence will show.
Check out these newly released deleted scenes below.
In Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, our beloved band of misfits are looking a bit different these days. Peter Quill, still reeling from the loss of Gamora, must rally his team around him to defend the universe along with protecting one of their own. A mission that, if not completed successfully, could quite possibly lead to the end of the Guardians as we know them.
Gunn writes and directs Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, which stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff, featuring Vin Diesel as Groot, Bradley Cooper as Rocket, Sean Gunn, Chukwudi Iwuji, Will Poulter, and Maria Bakalova.
Kevin Feige is the producer and Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Nikolas Korda, Simon Hatt, and Sara Smith serve as executive producers.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is currently playing in theaters.
