GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 3 Marvel Legends Figures Feature Adam Warlock, "Swole" Groot, And More

Hasbro has unveiled photos of its upcoming range of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 Marvel Legends action figures, which features most of the main characters, including a very golden-looking Adam Warlock.

We got a glimpse of some of these guys during a big Marvel merchandise drop a couple of weeks ago, but Hasbro has now unveiled some much better shots of its upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 Marvel Legends action figures.

The range includes: Adam Warlock, Drax, Star-Lord, Rocket, "Swole" and "Winged" Groot, Nebula, Kraglin and Mantis. Warlock looks a lot more golden here than he does in the footage we've seen, but we doubt that'll have much bearing on the movie itself (unless he gets darker when he powers up)?

No sign of Gamora or the villainous High Evolutionary, and we can see some collectors taking issue with the build a figure being Cosmo!

Check out the images below, and let us know if you plan on adding any of these to your collection.

"In Marvel Studios’ Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 our beloved band of misfits are settling into life on Knowhere. But it isn’t long before their lives are upended by the echoes of Rocket’s turbulent past." "Peter Quill, still reeling from the loss of Gamora, must rally his team around him on a dangerous mission to save Rocket’s life—a mission that, if not completed successfully, could quite possibly lead to the end of the Guardians as we know them."

Gunn writes and directs Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, which stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff, featuring Vin Diesel as Groot, Bradley Cooper as Rocket, Sean Gunn, Chukwudi Iwuji, Will Poulter, and Maria Bakalova.

Kevin Feige is the producer and Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Nikolas Korda, Simon Hatt, and Sara Smith serve as executive producers.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 arrives in theaters on May 5, 2023.

Boy, I'm loving the bold color schemes on these outfits. I hope the film features them in these costumes and it's not a roll-credits gag.

Swole Groot looks so dumb. I know he’s supposed to be in that awkward teenager phase, he just looks off.

Marvel Legends just keep getting better and better. Amazing how far they've come.

Could they have at least made Will Poulter look like Adam Warlock? This is like Namor all over again.

What’s annoying about Marvel Legends is they get rid of the window packing to cut costs and then they raise prices. Plus the windowless box has helped swappers with buying it then returning it with something else in the box and now they’re shrinking the baf?

@AnthonyVonGeek - Hasbro sucks and so do Marvel Legends. They are mostly re-used parts from character to character with new paint jobs, and sometimes new molded parts. But nearly every figure has re-used parts. Usually more re-used parts than not.

I just don't understand the appeal. They are priced expensive and to a point that they shouldn't just be given to kids to play with and ruin, but they also don't look good enough to be display pieces. (At least not in my opinion. They look like cheap toys.)

If you want nice display pieces you should be going with Mezco, Mafex, ThreeZero, or Hot Toys.

@VictorAlonzo - McFarlane? I mentioned several toy companies I like but McFarlane wasn't one of them.

They are better looking than Marvel Legends. But if your whole goal is to have collectible toys that are displayable then McFarlane falls short too.

@GreedoSarducci - articulation is a small sacrifice for pinpoint accurate detail. For the record, the articulation is not that much worse.

@VictorAlonzo - I personally think McFarlane details look worse than Marvel Legends. Never been a fan of their design, and like I said the articulation is crap.
