Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is now playing in theaters worldwide, and Jennifer Holland has taken to Instagram to share a first behind-the-scenes look at her character.
Holland, who played Emilia Harcourt in The Suicide Squad and Peacemaker, shows up when the crew infiltrates a bizarre, organic space station in an attempt to get a location on the High Evolutionary's base of operations.
Her character, Administrator Kwol, only appears in a couple of scenes, but based on how she reacts to Adam Warlock's "interrogation" of one of her colleagues, doesn't seem like a particularly nice person!
"Don’t have enough reasons to see @guardiansofthegalaxy in theaters?," Holland captioned her post. "Meet Administrator Kwol. Aptly named, this acronym stands for Kick-ass Woman OverLord. I’m not sure if @jamesgunn, who named her, knows that is what her name stands for… but obviously it’s true. Watch #gotgvol3 in theaters now and see for yourself!"
"In Marvel Studios’ Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 our beloved band of misfits are settling into life on Knowhere. But it isn’t long before their lives are upended by the echoes of Rocket’s turbulent past." "Peter Quill, still reeling from the loss of Gamora, must rally his team around him on a dangerous mission to save Rocket’s life—a mission that, if not completed successfully, could quite possibly lead to the end of the Guardians as we know them."
Gunn writes and directs Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, which stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldaña, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff, featuring Vin Diesel as Groot, Bradley Cooper as Rocket, Sean Gunn, Chukwudi Iwuji, Will Poulter, and Maria Bakalova. Kevin Feige is the producer and Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Nikolas Korda, Simon Hatt, and Sara Smith serve as executive producers.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 arrives in theaters on May 5, 2023.
