Mary Shelley Trailer
The first trailer for Saudi Arabian filmmaker Haifaa Al-Mansour's Mary Shelley is now online.
The film stars Elle Fanning (Neon Demon, The Beguiled) as the author of the title, who famously wrote the novel Frankenstein in a time when women were believed unfit to tell such stories.
The movie also stars Game of Thrones' Maisie Williams, Bel Powley and Ben Hardy, and is set to hit theaters on May 25.
Zack Snyder's Latest BVS Post
Over the past couple of weeks, Zack Snyder has been responding to fans on Vero, revealing some minor, but intriguing tidbits about Batman V Superman and Justice League.
A lot of what he shares is fairly obvious stuff that most people who watched the movies will already be aware of, but, at the very least, it does reignite conversation.
Snyder's latest post reveals that BVS actually ended exactly an hour after Lex Luthor gives Superman his 60-minute deadline to kill Batman. For more check out the director's response over on Reddit.
A Quiet Place Creature Origin Confirmed
If you've seen A Quiet Place, you'll know that it's not a film that goes in for a lot of exposition - particularly when it comes to the terrifying creatures that are stalking our protagonists.
There are a couple of hints that the blind, armored predators may be of extraterrestrial origin, however, and director/star John Krasinski confirmed as much during an interview with Empire:
“They are absolutely aliens. They’re from another planet. Where I developed the idea of them and what I wanted them to look like was most alien movies are about takeovers, agendas, they’re a thinking alien creature, and for me this idea of a predator, this idea of a parasite, this idea of something that is introduced into an ecosystem [was interesting]. One of my favorite movies I love to watch is RocknRolla and they tell that whole story about the crawfish in the Thames and that’s what I mean, the introduction of something that can’t be held back.”
Incredibles 2 Funko POPs
A new trailer for Dinsey/Pixar's Incredibles sequel debuted last week, and now we have a look at Funko's upcoming range of POP vinyls that'll be available very soon.
Mr. Incredible and Elastigirl were actually released in POP form already a few years ago (though you'll spend a pretty penny on them), but now they've been joined by Dash, Violet, Jack-Jack and Frozone, as well as new villains Screen Slaver and The Underminer.
Will you be adding any of these to your collection?
Hilarious Fan-Made Avengers: Infinity War Soundtrack Listing
A fan has put together a fake soundtrack CD cover for Avengers: Infinity War, which pokes fun at these type of listings' penchant for spoiling major plot points, as well as the persistent rumors that the Marvel epic will have a massive body count.
As you can see, the now infamously MIA Hawkeye is the only survivor!
New Captain Marvel Set Photo
A new image from the set of Captain Marvel has found its way online, but this is far less revealing than many of the other snaps we've previously featured.
Basically, it's just a pic of a house and its back garden fence, with some crew members just barely visible inside.
We wouldn't even have bothered sharing this were it not for one minor, but somewhat intriguing additional detail: the person that took the photo says that they were filming a boy standing in the yard "looking into the sky."
Joe Russo Suggests That Infinity War Baddie Ebony Maw Has Emerged As An Early Fan-Favorite
The Russo Brothers have already praised Irish actor Tom Vaughn-Lawlor for his work as CG Avengers: Infinity War villain Ebony Maw, but during a new interview, Joe suggests that the Black Order member has been a big hit with those that have been lucky enough to have seen the film already.
Since there have been no public screening of the full theatrical cut yet (that we're aware of), Russo is most likely referring to fellow MCU directors and Marvel execs.
“We’re trying to find the personality of those characters, the Black Order,” Joe said. “We were looking for people to bring personality to these characters and he [Tom Vaughan-Lawlor] just brought this interesting, complex character that’s really popping with people that have seen the movie so far.”
Poe Dameron Comic Picks Up Immediately After The Events Of The Last Jedi
The latest issue of Marvel's Poe Dameron comic series catches up with Poe, Rey, Finn and BB-8 immediately after the Battle of Crait from Star Wars: The Last Jedi, as they take some time to reflect on everything that's occurred.
The heroes engage in some banter, before Dameron agrees to tell his friends the story of how he escaped the crash on Jakku back in The Force Awakens.

James Gunn Responds To GOTG Vol. 3 Villain Query
We still know very little about James Gunn's plans for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, but the director has begun to respond to fan queries about the film on Twitter... though not in a very serious manner.
Here, Gunn jokingly suggests that the Marvel threequel won't actually have a villain, but we can expect a lot more Groot.
Beyonce Headlines Coachella
Finally, here's an image of Beyonce, who became the first black artist to headline Coachella last night and put on a show for the ages.
CBM-related? Well, her outfit is somewhat fantasy-themed and she's voicing Nala in the upcoming Lion King reboot!
Ummm... did we get away with that?
