The stunning actress, Zoe Saldana sat down with Collider earlier today to discuss Star Trek & Guardians Of The Galaxy , I have not included majority of the interview if you want to read the full thing, it is available for you in the source link below! Zoe discussed how excited she is to start filming Guardians and says she is a little nervous.

It makes me excited that I’m going to be a part of something, a world that’s going to challenge me – I mean, I’m going to get to play green, I’ve been a blue one, so might as well be green. I really like the director, James Gunn, I responded very, very well to the script. I loved the casting decisions they’ve been making so far. I can only hope we kick ass and we have a great time while we’re putting the film together. And that the result of that, the audience will respond very positively to it and hopefully we’ll be able to make just as much as Iron Man is making right now.

I haven’t thought about it that way, up until this tour actually, when it was brought to my attention. I read scripts and if I respond well to the story and especially to the character that they want me to consider or that I’m going after, that’s what I do. And then, all of a sudden I stop, and I go back and go, “Oh my God! These three things have so much in common,” and then I just keep going. It’s not something that I’m strategically looking after or that I’m finding because I’m avoiding other things. It just so happens that I’m in a frenzy, I’ve been in the last couple of years in action frenzy and I guess I gravitate a lot towards these kinds of characters that are very physically active.

Serkis as RR? Hmmm.

Tennant as RR? No! He should play a better character than that one.

I am so anticipating this movie so much. I hope it has success like the Star Trek reboot did.

I hope her fight scenes are epic i mean this is Gamora, the most dangerous [frick]ing woman in the universe. She should look like she can take down the cast of expendables 1 and 2 in their primes plus bruce lee, donnie yen, sammo hung and tony ja at once without even breaking a sweat.

Yes, this will be worth the wait. Do you we get to here Thanos saying "She's adopted!" about Gamora!? :)

Anyway, i dont know why they are trying to make big topics about risks and possible Marvel-flop? Come on, we get to see great and own cosmic adventure with this movie. Never done by Marvel yet in movies. Rocket Raccoon too risky? Not in my opinion. Like in Star Wars movies, weird tiny alien Jedi-master Yoda is the all time favorite character and everyone went nuts when he made his lightsaber debut :)

I like to know how many people knew of The Mask, Crow, History of Violence, Road to Perdition, and Men in Black comics when those movies came out. I bet most people didn't know they were based on comics and they became hits.

I doubt they will use motion capture for a character who is basically a green human. Expensive, time consuming, And ultimately pointless. They'll just paint her green.

Far too many ads placed on the photos. In addition there is so much speculation on some of the lesser known Marvel characters it is sometimes difficult to discern which ones will be made into big budget films.

Ant-Man - Avengers
Doctor Strange - Marvel Phase III (tie-in?
Moon Knight (scratching my chin)
Black Panther (possible much debate over lead)
Star Jammers (X-Men tie-in?)
Man-Wolf (Spiderman, John Jameson, moon, Guardians-Iron Man)
Morbius the living Vampire (Spiderman tie-in)
Daredevil (Reboot?)
Fantastic Four (possibly in production)

and so on..........

I agree with jwe75

The only risk they are taking is if they make it shitty. but hell even the star wars prequels were shitty, but they were successful in the box office and to the studios that is all that really matter.

She's a cute gal, it's too bad though, she can't put on a few pounds and get her weight up to at least 100 lbs.
I thought the "Twiggy" look went out in the 60s.

Don't get me wrong, I enjoy her as an actress in everything she does, and think she is extremely attractive, but I prefer curvy voluptuousness while some people, maybe youself, SpideyQuad, prefer thinner gals.
And there's nothing wrong with that.
Different strokes, right?
KeefNCookies
KeefNCookies - 5/14/2013, 7:47 AM
Way too skinny considering she's gonna be in practical and not motion cap, but good enough actress. I just hope they add some mass to her to actually make her look the slightest bit capable of uckin shi up.

@Mr123 that would be amazing if she was. But unfortunately the overly PC world we live in can't handle it. I love comics because they are able to combine great storytelling with fan service. Whedon is the closest we have gotten, and I have high hopes for James Gunn, but I would love to see what John Milius or Paul Verhoeven would do with a Marvel property.
