He-Man will soon be making his way to the big screen via a new Masters of the Universe movie, but his twin sister is sticking to her animated roots for a new Netflix reboot, She-Ra and the Princeses of Power.

The first promo poster and cast list were recently unveiled, and now thanks to a couple of magazine scans we have a look at the titular heroine's updated design. They're not the greatest quality, but we'll add some official images as soon as they're released.

Any old-school She-Ra fans in the house? If so, what do you make of this new version of the character?

Eisner Award-winning author Noelle Stevenson is executive producing and serving as showrunner, with the series set to premiere globally on Netflix in 2018.

Is tv animation in such a slump that they have to use the cheapest animators available? I miss the artistry of the 80s, especially the hand painted realistic backgrounds.

In the 80’s we had amazing looking men and women to look up to and now almost every character looks like an androgynous boy.
It’s sad.
