Last month, an Italian site claimed that Jason Reitman's Ghostbusters reboot will be titled Ghostbusters: Afterlife. Now, it appears as if that's been confirmed thanks to a British Board of Film Classification listing which also reveals that the first trailer will run for 2 minutes, 28 seconds.

With the likes of Jumanji: The Next Level and Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker on the way, it's going to be a busy month for trailers and this one should be with us in time for the former.

The last Ghostbusters reboot (a female-led effort from director Paul Feig) was controversial to say the least but this effort is set to serve as a sequel of sorts to 1989's Ghostbusters II. A number of original cast members will reprise their classic roles but the focus will be put on a new cast which includes Finn Wolfhard, Carrie Coon, Paul Rudd, and Mckenna Grace

There's still a lot of excitement surrounding this "sequel," though, and our first look at Afterlife promises to be very interesting as the pressure is on Reitman to deliver something special.

The movie is set to be released in theaters on July 10th, 2020. Are you excited?
