Ghostbusters makes its long-awaited return, rebooted with a cast of hilarious new characters. Thirty years after the beloved original franchise took the world by storm, director Paul Feig brings his fresh take to the supernatural comedy, joined by some of the funniest actors working today – Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon, Leslie Jones, and Chris Hemsworth. Well... the new theme sounds cool, but that's it. These actresses are just not funny.

So it starts out and it seems like they're actually playing it straight and not going for the laughs, but it's just not funny, in my opinion.

Speaking as someone who's a huge fan of the original movies, I wasn't sure what to expect this reboot. That being said, I really liked what I saw with this trailer. The ghosts look great, the cast seems like they have great chemistry, and it looks to be decently funny. Count me on board with this.

@Grodd87 - Personally, I really don't know what to expect exactly after that trailer. However, I'm with you that my biggest fear is that what happened with the abomination that is the new TMNT movies happens with this new Ghostbusters movie. At least this one has Michael Bay nowhere near it, which helps. Word to the wise for all of them, focus on the characters, lay off the CGI and over-the-top ridiculous action scenes, and take notes from the new Star Wars on how to honor the past movies with practical effects.

Looks like the Pixels of 2016. I didn't laugh at one joke. Everything is the same from the first film just gender swapped.
