New GHOSTBUSTERS Character Vignettes Spotlight The Four Heroines
It's Ghostbusters day and to celebrate, Sony has released four character featurettes for the upcoming Paul Feig-directed film spotlighting our heroines. Plus, we have photos from their Elle cover shoot!

We're just a little over a month away from seeing Paul Feig's updated take on the Ghostbusters and with today being Ghostbusters Day and all, Sony Pictures has released four funny new character vignettes that spotlight each of this generation's version of the ghostbusting heroes, played by Kristen Wiig (The Martian), Melissa McCarthy (Spy), Leslie Jones (Saturday Night Live), and Kate McKinnon (Saturday Night Live). There's plenty of funny new footage in each of the videos, so be sure to give them all a play. Also, in case you missed it, there was another great featurette for the Ecto-1 car released this morning, which you can check out HERE.

Erin Gilbert (Wiig) and Abby Yates (McCarthy) are a pair of unheralded authors who write a book positing that ghosts are real. A few years later Gilbert lands a prestigious teaching position at Columbia University, but her book resurfaces and she is laughed out of academia. Gilbert reunites with Yates and others when ghosts invade Manhattan and she and her team have to save the world.
