Godzilla To Receive A Reboot

Looks like the jolly green giant is in negotiations to make a rebooted come back to the silver screen.

The rumor mill is reporting that Legendary Pictures (Batman, TDK, The Hangover) is in early negotiations to reboot Godzilla here in the good ol' USA.

Hopefully saving us from that horrible memory that was. In 1998 Roland Emmerich directed and Matthew Broderick starred, turning in the worst Godzilla movie and the worst movie of the decade. Hopefully they leave Matthew at home and let the big boys take on Godzilla, scaring the Japanese along the way.

No news as yet on who will direct or what the script will consist because, as I said, Legendary Pictures is in early negotiations. Stay tuned as further news will be sure to develop.
