Following its premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival earlier this month, David Gordon Green's Halloween sequel garnered widespread critical acclaim and while fans worldwide will have to wait another couple of weeks before they get to take in the latest chapter in the Michael Myers saga, Universal Pictures has already gone ahead and released nearly twenty ultra hi-resolution stills from the sequel.

The photos are hardly revealing, but we do get a number of creepy shots of the masked killer as well as fresh new looks at our leading lady Jamie Lee Curtis, who returns as a considerably more seasoned - and badass - Laurie Strode nearly four decades after the original.

I was going to type something about how excited I am for this movie, but the 3 Austin Powers gifs in a row had me busting a gut, so thanks for that.

Can't wait! Just wish that called the movie "Michael Myers" instead.
