The Umbrella Corporation’s deadly T-virus continues to ravage the Earth, transforming the global population into legions of the flesh eating Undead. cool. these films are a guilty pleasure of mine. Amongst most of the shit horror films that get released each year these ones at least try to be entertaining. Plus hot chicks kicking ass is always fine in my books.

Finally! More pictures of the other characters. Sienna Guillory looks awesome as Battlesuit Jill. Her machine guns are even the same, well, very close to the game.

And Bingbing Li is uncanny as Ada Wong. Once they reboot these movies, I hope they consider bringing her back.

@Vital@RABB1T In RE: Retribution, we find out the events that took place in the other movies were memories implanted in Alice's brain by Umbrella, i.e. they never happened.

It's a pretty silly and pointless plot device when they could have just rebooted the series.

I love how people think this franchise will be rebooted so soon. Paul said if this one does well, there will be a 6th film that will most likely be the last. Milla said they can't do this forever, they're all getting too old! lol If anyone who hasn't, actually watched interviews and behind the scenes clips you'd see that they just love making these movies. Not just for die hard RE game fans, but fans who love both the games & movies like me & many others. Also, Milla said Paul already has an idea for another movie, it's just not on paper yet. So I definitely wouldn't get my hopes up of Retribution being the last.

Please let this be the end of this franchise that is Resident Evil in name only.

And let this also be the end of Paul W.S. Anderson's poor directing career. Because when the only seemingly decent movie you've done in the span of a 18 year career is Event Horizon, you don't deserve to be on a movie set.

This is one of the franchises that needs to end, IMO. But after seeing the tagline "Evil goes global", looks like they are going to milk it even more. Petty 3D shots make it look cheap for the sake of calling it "3D". But I see boobs, so I am going to watch it. Lol!

Not everyone likes to only watch really serious well made movies all the time. Just like music, I like all types of different movies, whether they're widely successful critically praised. People actually still go see these crappy movies, God why the hell didn't they reboot this franchise already, it has nothing to do with the superior video games, only that umbrella is envolved and that there's an outbreak, thats where the similarities end...

Reboot this shit and make it like the games minus the made up weak Alice character and add a real Chris and Claire Redfield, Jill Valentine, Wesker, and Leon Kennedy... they totally crap on the excellent games name with this shit!

I've been a Resident Evil fan since I was a tween playing through Resident Evil on the PS1. I've played every game since from the main numbered line to Gun Survivor to Outbreak to Code Veronica. I love the games story and I really enjoy these flicks, I don't really get the hate and why people call the movies shit.

While they don't follow the continuity of the games at all, they're fun popcorn flicks full of over-the-top zombie killing. I love the series.

I do hope they reboot it after the next flick and give us some movies closer to the storyline from the games, but whatevs, I'll keep watching either way...
