We had the cover art and some stills for this straight-to-dvd follow up to the actually pretty good Fright Night remake already, and now the trailer has been officially released. Do you think it looks up to scratch?

“By day Gerri Dandridge is a sexy professor, but by night she transforms into a real-life vampire with an unquenchable thirst for human blood. So when a group of high school students travel abroad to study in Romania, they find themselves ensnared in Gerri’s chilling web of lust and terror. Charley and “Evil” Ed must stop Gerri from drinking and bathing in the blood of a “new moon virgin,” which just so happens to be Charley’s ex-girlfriend, Amy. They enlist help from Peter Vincent, the vampire hunting host of a reality show called “Fright Night,” to drive a stake through Gerri’s plan and save Amy from a fate far worse than death.“

Ugh... Was that vampire girl holding the spear of destiny when she got hit by a car? Lame, I probably won't even rent this at redbox. The original is great and I enjoyed the Colin Ferral version but this looks really over the top. I'll pass

The original sequel was awful. The reboot's sequel looks like their original plan for the reboot. But decided to update the orginal plot and characters instead. This is all too confusing for no reason. Clearly, there are better ideas not being made into films. This saddens me.

Im so confused evil ed died in the remake at the hands of charley and peter vincent was an illusionist not a reality show host. Im gonna pass on this. So many better ways they could have done this.

This looks almost as bad as the sequel to 30 Days of Night which was horrible. Jaime Murray is hot but when she was on Dexter she annoyed the Hell out of me.

This isn't really a remake of a remake. there was a sequel to the original fright night movie with a female vampire in it. I think this is just a direct to DVD sequel without the original cast.

Does anyone else realize that in the trailer they are playing it out as if they were not aware that vampires exist ? You would figure that by now after the events of the first film that they would not be in shock that vampires exist. Also the main fact that Evil Ed Died in the first film of the remake so I have no idea on why they are calling it fright night 2 when it clearly seems more like a reboot to me. Another important factor is that once jerry was killed off in the first everyone turns back to being human yet evil ed is still a vampire ? So friggin confusing....

Cinematography looks very good. Characters look interesting. But nothing really scary about Jaime Murray's character, other than her complete absence of emotion.

Very good cinematography though. A nice nod to the original Fright Night II. Tangerine Dream did the soundtrack. Cool 80's group.

Jaime Murray... she's an amazing actress. Shallow idioits would only think of it for physical reasons... but she does great job as H.G. Wells in Warehouse 13... wish she became a main cast member in that show...
And this looks great!!!... she looks great as a fierce vampire!!!... if only she'd join in Being Human as the main bad-ass vampire protagonist!!! Or in The Vampire Diaries!!!.. love her work!!! Very accomplished n beautiful actress....
