Iron Man 2 builds big set in LA

A massive construction project at the foot of the Sepulveda Dam in L.A. has been arousing curiosity among motorists driving on the 101 Ventura Freeway in the San Fernando Valley for the past week. A "Rasputin" sign hangs at the entrance to the dam. The project, it turns out, is a set for Iron Man 2.

found this on another news website...

But an official answering to Rasputin Locations insisted the set featuring 21st century shipping containers was for a flick about a Russian character that "made reference" to Russian mystic Grigori Rasputin. He declined to identify a producer.

Actors Mickey Rourke and Scarlette Johansson play Russian characters in the upcoming "Iron Man 2."

"It's for the film `Rasputin,"' said Scott Trimble, location scout for the spectacular set just south of the wildlife area. "It's all temporary and everything will be restored."

I guess even Tony Stark has been hit by the bad economy. I guess he had to take up a job at a steel mill.
