Marvel.com unveiled this latest 1/6th scale Iron Man figure today which is based on the likeness of the Iron Man Mk XLI armour seen in Iron Man 3. The suit was nicknamed "Bones" in the $1 billion grossing movie for its unique outer appearance, and the fact that it features thin black and gold plating with the internal mechanisms exposed. Like the armour from Iron Man 3, this figure also has the ability to split apart and reform using magnetic components. The figure also features LED-lighted eyes and Arc Reactor, three pairs of interchangeable hands featuring articulated fingers and light-up repulsors. So, repare to execute a "House Party Protocol" and preorder this figure for your collection now from Hot Toys! Will you guys pick this up when it's released?

I understand that it's fan made, but that IS a good design for Wonder Woman's armor.

Why the ULTRON face?

Yeah. I think I'm going to replace "just got off the phone with the girlfriend" with "just got finished giving her some solid dick" for the rest of the week and see how it goes.

Covering 80% of her body with armor like that would be the only way to convince me she's WW.

Well, there goes the panel I posted...

Now my comment has no context whatsoever, and just sounds weird.

Balls.

I like it, but agree. No real point in action figures unless I am buying them for my son to destroy.

What was the point of this armor again? it's just a working MK42

And while we are on the topic of Wonder Woman, why does everyone believe that Wonder Woman should be "busty" (for lack of a better word as to avoid offending anyone)? Other than something nice to look at, how does her bra size have anything to do with said character? More importantly, I like how all the DC threads end up being about Marvel and the Marvel thread about DC.

Nice toy. Nice Wonder Woman pic BUT there should be no pants and the top of breast plate looks too similar to a Nightwing symbol.

@Poozer1984

I couldn't care less about her breast size (ok, maybe a little bit). Most people are more concerned with her thin frame altogether. But Snyder did confirm she's not in WW shape yet and is currently working on that.

I don't know, I wasn't sure about the Man of Steel Superman Suit until I saw it on the big screen, and we have only seen a shadow of Batman's suit *no pun intended there* so that could end up bad as well. Otherwise, I am ready for more Iron Man on the big screen.

What is the purpose of this suit? Like if Tony Stark had it on... The suit just disassembles (pun intended) and what? Stark's left with his torso or head piece or nothing at all!... I shouldn't even question Marvel's logic, especially coming from Iron Man 3 lol

dmm5 - 7/14/2014, 11:31 AM
With that being said, love the suit! Has anyone seen the other 40 suits? Most of them are the same design copied from other suits with different color schemes! Needed more variety and time with the suits, Tony. C'mon!

@dmm5 I don't know, perhaps his gauntlet could come off and help him if he is trapped under his destroyed house at the bottom of the ocean or something. Marvel isn't the one who isn't using logic here.

@jimoakley66 yeah I wish we got to see more of the Starboost armor in the movie or that rumor that the end of Iron Man 3 had a post credits scene with Tony flying into space with this to get an SOS from the Guardians of the Galaxy!
