@SuperArgo... Their first? NO! Their biggest? Debatable...

You forgetting Spider-man 1, 2, AND 3... and X-men 1 and 2. ALSO BLADE and if I'm not mistaken didn't the Ang Lee Hulk do financially well? Personally it's one of my favorites, the Hulk, i mean. Love almost every actor and the music was superb! XP

well thats good that he is going to return as the character but at least he wont be getting as much screentime. And finally a bit of character continuity within a Marvel movie

Although it will be weird, I can just imagine the scene in Iron Man 3, Shane directing and then Jon suddenly starts lecturing Shane on how he would direct a scene. Shane would just say well you shouldnt have left the franchise then! lol

@Teois42
Erm, I think Argo meant Marvel Studios first big movie. The rest belonged to Fox, Sony, New Line & Universal

I liked Jon Favreau as Happy Hogan although it would be weird to have him return as Hogan but not as the director. I guess if Shane Black is happy about it then it will happen.

I would be just fine with another actor playing Hogan. I probably would've liked him more if Favreau hadn't played him in IM2. To me it just seemed like a spoiled director wanting to be in his own movie that didn't add a damn bit of anything to the final product.

I think some of you guys are being a little too hard on Favreau. Some of you are saying that all of his Iron Man films sucked, but I think that's a real big exaggeration considering that the first one (in my opinion) was an awesome film and that the second one really wasn't half-bad and could have been much worse as a sequel.

Favreau was great as Happy Hogan and I think it would be real cool to bring him back for the last film.
