Weta Digital Showcases Their VFX From IRON MAN 3 Climactic Battle
Premier visual effects company, Weta Digital, has uploaded a new video that reveals some scenes that were digitally enhanced in Shane Black's blockbuster comic book movie, Iron Man 3.
Weta Digital worked on over 500 shots on Marvel's Iron Man 3, creating the epic final battle where 30 Iron Man suits take on an army of extremis mercenaries.
The sequence features a full digital environment that goes through some epic destruction as the two sides clash in a tightly choreographed battle sequence. The final showdown between Tony Stark and the Mandarin is also not to be missed.

Iron Man 3 was directed by Shane Black, from a screenplay written by Drew Pearce. The film opened in theaters May 3, 2013. It stars: Robert Downey Jr. (Tony Stark), Gwyneth Paltrow (Virginia Potts), Don Cheadle (Col. James Rhodes), and Ben Kingsley as The Mandarin.
