Ol' Marky Mark really doesn't seem too keen on comic book movies. In the following video interview with Yahoo, the Ted actor says that he always prefers to play "real people" and that's why he reckons he has never been asked about possibility playing a superhero. But, he does admit to liking The Avengers, and apparently wouldn't mind taking a stab at Iron Man when Robert Downey Jr. eventually hangs up the helmet. Plus, did you know he was up for the role of Robin in Batman Forever?
“I would like to take over the ‘Iron Man’ franchise for Robert Downey, [but] it’s one of those things where I kind of like playing real people, [so] I’ve never been asked. Once I was kind of being talked about for the Robin role in ‘Batman [Forever] -- somebody dodged a bullet!”
