Das Boot(the Boat), a fairly brilliant German movie.

The boat in the pic doesnt look very wild westy! Maybe its nowhere near finished, but i thought it would be a steam ship..yknow, with a big windmill in the middle

Ror--They were steam powered. You know, I dont know what that big wheel thing was for. You're right though, it'll prolly get dirtied up a bit.

AWESOME! They're going all out for the Civil War authenticity of this film! Right on! :)

Any pics of Megan Fox sunbathing out there on deck? ;)

I agree

Once they get that big bitch in the water and dirty her up a bit, it will look pretty good.

Hey! They should get shibazz over there. I understand making an old girl feel dirty is her fortay. ^_^

Jonah Hex is pretty much your stereotypical cowboy book. Think Clint Eastwood's hero with no name movies. He's a post civil war confederate bounty hunter who always ends up in the middle of some weird stuff.

I'm not a huge fan, I bought a few issues of him after I saw him in an episode of Batman. I thought he was visually appealing, however(and this may just be the three issues I bought) I found him to be some what bland. Again it could have been the stories, he was an interesting enough character in both the episode of Batman and then again in Justice league unlimited. I happen to like westerns so I'll probably catch this when it comes out, unless of course it starts to look like wild wild west, which is a distinct possibility with the way miss fox looked in the previous pictures.

So he's a poor lonesome cowboy and he's a long long way from home. And he get's into wierd shit. Sounds interesting.
But i think Megan Fox sounds even more interesting.
The boat doesn't realy have that western feeling to it. But if they dirt it up a bit it might be good. Why not just use an old riverboat, with the big waterwheel on the back.

@Billyblack, 'das boot' watch Beerfest ;D
MarkCassidy
MarkCassidy - 6/4/2009, 4:38 AM
Yeah but its not your basic Western because there are voodoo resurrected zombies in it! As well as time travel and (possibly) aliens! Tie all that in with a weird link Jonah has with the rest of the DCU and you aint talking about Bonanza here

it's a civil war iron clad, so I imagine it fits into hex's civil war theme.

Hey fantasy is one thing to enjoy but historical inaccuracies is another matter...as long as the ironclad "replica"...to which particular vessel it is suppose to mimick is a big question....just as long as it isn't suppose to be the CSS Merrimack/Virginia.

Well for starters the Virginia had only one smoke stack
two why are people sticking to the idea of zombies ??? for god's sake that's part of a 1997 script that sucked big time .
Turnball is no Voodoo priest . he's out to kill Jonah for one reason only ...... he blames Jonah for the death of his only son Jeb Turnball.
If they put time travel in the movie then it's doomed instead we have a kick ass western to look forward too. The supernatural stuff is minor that blends with the story.

Crap and double crap,, I just realized why every one is on the zombie train of thought that crappy ass character Doc. Cross Williams who claims to be a wizard . runs a type of side show using people he zombified he tried to pickle Jonah and with Wild Bill Hitchcock be his body guards.
Was later killed by Indians.....
with that in mind those idiots used that to tie it in with that crappy script from 97 (see the stack report) about raising an undead army to liberate the South. NO,NO,NO,NO,NO,NO,NO,NO,NO,NO,NO,NO,NO
IDJITS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Kill Cross Williams NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
