Green Lantern, The Flash And Shazam Featured In Two New JUSTICE LEAGUE: WAR Still

Justice League: War is based on Geoff Johns and Jim Lee's first Justice League arc in DC's "The New 52" continuity, and acts as a follow-up to Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox

When the powerful Darkseid and his massive, relentless forces invade Earth, a group of previously unaligned super heroes – misunderstood and, in some cases, hunted by the authorities – discover the only way to fend off the attack will be to work together as a cohesive unit. Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Flash, Shazam and, in his origin story, Cyborg combine their respective talents in an all-out battle to save the planet. Based on the 2012 graphic novel, “Justice League: Origin,” by Geoff Johns & Jim Lee, JUSTICE LEAGUE: WAR provides a glance into the world before the Justice League was created, and offers the initial animated incarnation of DC Entertainment’s “The New 52.”

Produced by Warner Bros. Animation and DC Entertainment, Justice League: War features the voices of Jason O’Mara (Vegas, Terra Nova), Christopher Gorham (Covert Affairs), Justin Kirk (Weeds), Alan Tudyk (Suburgatory, Serenity, Firefly), Michelle Monaghan (Mission: Impossible III), Shemar Moore (Criminal Minds), Sean Astin (LOTR films), Bruce Thomas (Army of Darkness) and Steve Blum (Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox). Producer is James Tucker and director is Jay Oliva from a script by Heath Corson.

The one thing I never liked from JL: Origins, is how Batman reveals his true identity to GL. I feel like Superman should be the only one who should know.

I guess Geoff Johns was trying to be original by having Batman be the motherly diplomat of the team.. at one point he's giving inspirational speaches to practically everyone haha

Yeah, that was just weird and unnecessary, I wouldn't mind if it is completely changed or removed for this movie.

I hope the movie will be good. I also wish that DC would go back to calling him Captain Marvel instead of Shazam. He is not Shazam that is the wizard. Plus if he tells people his name he will turn back into Billy.

Isn't Aqua Man getting his own animated feature? Which is why he's not in this one?

Hal Jordan relies too much on his mouth in the NEW 52. Just like Ryan Reynolds did in the movie version of GL, unfortunately.

Too bad Aquaman got replaced by CM. I was hoping to see Arthur and his buddies do their thing.

Only slightly interested in this.

Aquaman and Martian Manhunter >>>>>>> Captain Marvel and Cyborg

Also Geoff Johns sucks at writing Batman and Wonder Woman. He just doesn't get them.

DC did the right thing by exchanging Aquaman for Shazam. This version won't be completely predictable. Someone who is operates under water just doesn't belong fighting on land with these other heroes. IMO, DC should kill the character off completely or reduce his appearances.

Can't wait.

To all the Aquaman fans, relax, the man is getting his due!! His own freaking MOVIE!! Maybe they will do the story that has him crossing with the Justice League as most of the new animated stuff will be more New 52 oriented, but with their own spin to it.

@mrjones. Aquaman comics are one of the highest selling comics at DC. So you really must not read comics like @blackjack10 said.

Regardless, even if you don't read comics what your suggesting would make DC comics lose money. It's a good thing you don't work for DC...
