How Would You Rate Season 1 Of JUSTICE LEAGUE: GODS AND MONSTERS?

The first season for DC Comics’ Justice League: Gods and Monsters have officially wrapped with the release of the third episode today!

Feature Opinion

With the three episodes for season 1 of Justice League: Gods and Monsters released by Machinima via YouTube, take the time now to give your thoughts on what you felt about the first season as a whole. Even though these episodes didn’t showcase the alternate Justice League assembled, they did give us a good intake on what each character’s personality was, while ultimately setting up for the full film, which is set to release July 28. Each of those episodes also included a form of death and had a dark feel to it.

Aside from “Vampire” Batman biting Harley (killing her?), Superman killing a kid version of Brainiac, and Wonder Woman pairing up with Steve Trevor, these brief five minute episodes were interesting, and certainly will get you hyped for the film! If you did not yet see these episodes, feel free to head to Machinima’s YouTube page, or simply click HERE.

For those who already saw each episode, take the time now to vote on the poll, and give your feedback in the comment section below and tell things you enjoyed, and things you may have disliked!

Season 2 of Justice League: Gods and Monsters will debut in 2016 and include 10 episodes.

I thought they were awesome, they were a fresh new take on classic characters and it feels SO good to see Bruce Timm dip his hand back in the DC Universe again.

I voted 4* - I really liked the shorts, but didn't think they were perfect. I liked Supes best, then Batman and Wonder Woman.

The only thing that I genuinely didn't care for about the Batman episode was the Harley design, especially her face. It's a rare thing for me to dislike anything when it comes to classic Timm style visuals, but something about Harley bothered me immensly. I liked the overall atmosphere and the vampiric Batman a lot, though.

The Superman short was just [frick]ing great! In the few minutes we got a satisfying introduction to this world's Superman, there was a lot of worldbuilding being done, and the story about the out of control kid Brainiac was extremely dark and emotional at the same time.

Wonder Woman's episode was nice and funny, had decent action, but overall the story was the weakest imo. The giant robot did little for me, and there wasn't anything like the creepy atmosphere from the Batman ep or the emotional impact from the Superman ep. Still Bekka's and Steve's banter made it a quite... satisfying watch. ^^

All in all a very promising introduction to the 'Gods and Monsters' universe. Made me even more excited for the full movie, which is now just about my most anticipated upcoming DC project of all! :)

Batman's was good, Superman's was the best one out of the 3 (also the most depressing), Wonder Woman's was kind of meh to be honest.

The Superman episode was downright heartbreaking...Im a guy and I'll admit :D, thats good writing and raw emotion...Why cant WB/DC just make Bruce Timm the Kevin Feige of the DcCU movies?

MisterBatfleck: He's the only one that says "Hack Snyder", along with "New Fifty Screw" it couldn't be anyone else. As long as he doesn't post a hellish amount of pictures he'll be easy enough to ignore even without banning him.

Not really a season, just 3 shorts to get people accustomed to the movie.

Yeah, it's times like this where I thank Nate for bringing in the Block button.

Superman's story being the best was good to see. Steve and Bekka's banter is entertaining. Kirk is a deadly shadow in the night, pretty radical.

I enjoyed them. It gave a nice spin on the DC characters. I now am looking forward to season 2 with Green Lantern and Captain Marvel.

Why is Dexter so concerned if a man's dick is hard or not?

Anything you wanna admit?

Yeah since most of us use the block button now, the Hall of Shame has been almost empty for the past few months now.

Not anymore unfortunately.

@Dexter

"but I understand he didn't want to retread the movies to much (unlike Hack Snyder)"

It's funny how you praise Bruce Timm, when he wanted to do the same exact thing Snyder did in MoS with Superman snapping Zods neck.
