JUSTICE LEAGUE Reshoot Set Photos Seemingly Reveal WONDER WOMAN Flashbacks

The Avengers director Joss Whedon is at the helm of Justice League reshoots currently taking place and set photos have surfaced which reveal some interesting ties to Wonder Woman...

Justice League reshoots started a little earlier this month and thanks to Batman-News, we have a first look at photos from the Cardington Sheds set in Bedfordshire, England. The full gallery can be found by heading over to the site, but as you can see below, there are older cars, a bus (which is probably green so special effects can be added), and an old German aeroplane which points to some WWI flashbacks.

Why does that matter? Well, as you no doubt already know, Wonder Woman took place in that time period so it could be that Steppenwolf and the three Mother Boxes will be tied to Ares in some form.

We already know that we're going to see the Amazons go to war with Darkseid's Parademons, so the signs are all pointing to Diana Prince playing a key conflict in the League's fight against his son. With any luck, more photos from the movie's England set are going to surface over the next few weeks.

The Avengers helmer Joss Whedon is taking charge of the Justice League reshoots after Zack Snyder stepped down following a family tragedy but the plan is for the movie's aesthetic to remain the same.

@Parker00 - That's nice. I don't. Zack Snyder teamed with Joss Whedon? It brings me tears of joy. Especially with Geoff Johns producing. Absolute joy. :,)

'the plan is for the movie's aesthetic to remain the same.'

But the aesthetic of the movie is what bothered me the most about the trailer. But I understand why they are not changing it, out of respect for Zack Snyder.

@RobertFrownyJr - I didn't like the aesthetic either.

@RobertFrownyJr - I think it will work out for the best. Wonder Woman had the same aesthetic as the previous DC Films. It was even darker than Man of Steel. But it was still optimistic, and had a fair share of humor. I think that will be the same case for Justice League. Although, idk if it will be as dark. This is supposed to be the most optimistic chapter in Snyder's "trilogy", so it stands to reason that it will remain in the same optimistic direction as Wonder Woman, and the sun and light seem to be playing a big role in this film. At least, in promo images. So we should expect more color too.

@RobertFrownyJr - The aesthetic is what sets it apart from the MCU which is not necessarily a bad thing. I don't want to see the dame freaking superhero movie over and over again.

"League's fight against his son"

???

Steppenwolf is not Darkseid's son??

@Ayush - I think that's a slip on Josh's part. DC Films hasn't taken liberties on that level, as of yet. I don't see them doing so here, either. I think Wilding just flubbed in typing the story.

@AMrSundayGirl58 - And yet they've turned Lex Luthor into the Riddler, Doomsday into a generic cave troll and The Joker into a Gigolo pimp. I'd say they have more than taken liberties with major characters. (Also, the less said about Superman's portrayal, the better)

@Ayush - Steppenwolf is Darkseids uncle if I'm not mistaken.

@kong - Lol. Ikr? They overexaggerate their complaints all the time. It's not like Kingpin didn't do the same thing to Daredevil in Born Again, or Lex didn't do the same to Superman in For All Seasons. Yet he's "the Riddler."

Ragnarocknroll
Ragnarocknroll - 6/13/2017, 11:23 PM
@AMrSundayGirl58 - You're actually comparing the godawful Lex from BvS to the one from a classic like All Seasons? They're literally NOTHING alike. Also, Kingpin's plan in 'Born Again' made sense, unlike Lex in BvS.
kong
kong - 6/14/2017, 2:26 PM
@MonsieurCringe - At no point in BvS did was the character Lex Luthor ever referred to as The Riddler or do anything associated with the riddler other than be quite eccentric, which is not a trait exclusive to the Riddler to any other fictional character.

Doomsday does not enter one cave or exhibit the qualities of a troll once in the film. He is the exact character form the comics with the only difference being laser shooting abilities and less bone pertrusions than usual.

The Joker never is seen having paid sex or profiting off of others having paid sex, so he is not a gigolo pimp. When the Joker was first introduced in the 40s, a purple suit was flamboyant and flashy. In the modern age, long leather purple trench coats, chains, and shiny teeth is more flamboyant and flashy than a purple suit, as brightly colored suits have become much more normalized.

So I don't know what the [frick] you're talking about.
