Following a heartfelt message thanking fans fans prior to the debut of Justice League, actor Henry Cavill, who plays Superman in the DCEU, has once again posted a message to show his appreciation towards his supporters. This time it comes in the form of a video posted on Instagram.

Cavill posted a video from the premiere night of Justice League, but before it cuts to the festivities, the actor recorded a brief message to fans. "Hi everyone, tonight is premiere night, and I love these nights, always very excited," Cavill said. "It's a time for celebration. I need to finish getting ready, and welcome to Justice League."

The sped up montage, which features some heartwarming moments with fans, was accompanied with the caption "Thank you once again to everyone who came out to support the Justice League premiere last week, and to those who are heading to the cinemas to see it...especially all of you in Ar-Kansas!"

The video, embedded below, includes a segment regarding that Ar-Kansas bit, as Cavill explains he originally thought that's how Arkansas was pronounced.

Henry Cavill's portrayal of the Man of Steel has been one of the bright spots in an otherwise underwhelming start to the DC Extended Universe, which only continued with Justice League's disappointing reception

My guess is, the fact that the vast majority of moviegoers (that is, people who don't visit sites like this every single day) had no idea Superman was even in the movie, hurt it. And let's face it, 99% of moviegoers aren't rabid fans/anti-fans like us. WB was (shockingly!) very disciplined in not showing Supes in any of the trailers, and I'm guessing they're regretting that now. Expect Supes to start showing in TV spots very soon.

@JohnSmithXXX - It was that damn Doomsday trailer. It killed the greater Box Office chances for Batman v Superman and trying not to spoil Superman's return in Justice League killed the film's box office chances. If they had left Doomsday out of the marketing, none of this would have happened.

He deserves so much better. Hopefully better minds will prevail in the future!

This guy could be a better Superman if Snyder just said "Be yourself". What they did to him was so...wrong and ugly to the character it hurt. Then in JL they wanna act like it never happened. Ridiculous.

Thank you...Henry! No matter what people say you are a great Superman and I know it is not your fault!

How do you mess-up the name of a place you are thanking - it's Arkansas not Ar-Kansas

@Scarilian - I think it was a joke as to where Clark is from, Kansas. But yeah, lets keep blind hating the guy no matter what. I bet you're a real fun guy

@Prime -

I doubt it. Even the director did not appear to want that.

It was great to see him totally unleash on Steppenwolf. They really showed his raw power at the end. I'm guessing he's still going to go all Pet Semetary on us as Darkseid approaches.
