Heat Vision reports that John C. Reilly and Mary-Louise Parker are in talks to join the cast of Red, Summit Entertainment's adaptation of the Wildstorm/DC Comics miniseries being directed by Robert Schwentke.
The film is about former black-ops agent (Bruce Willis), now in retirement, who has to contend with younger, more high-tech assassins who show up to kill him.
Reilly would play a retired CIA agent who is paranoid that everyone is out to kill him.
Parker would play the romantic interest, a federal pension worker who becomes embroiled in the Willis character's struggle to stay alive.
Morgan Freeman and Helen Mirren already are on board for the film, being produced by Lorenzo Di Bonaventura and Mark Vahradian.
DC's Gregory Noveck executive produces with Jake Myers. Jon and Erich Hoeber wrote the script.
Funny John C. Reilly [Taladega Nights] and Yummy Mary-Louise Parker [TV's Weeds] is set to join Bruce Willis, Morgan Freeman and Helen Mirren on the Wildstorm/DC comics miniseries RED movie adaptation. So we will just say the already impressive cast just gotten more impressive.

Parker will be the lead's romantic interest, her role is a federal pension worker who get tangles on the crazy life of Mr. Willis' character.
Film is being produced by Lorenzo Di Bonaventura and Mark Vahradian. Executive produced by DC's Gregory Noveck, and Jake Myers. Script work is done by Jon and Erich Hoeber.
