I'll be posting my thoughts on this year's 4 films by order they release.
Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance: This year's underdog more-less, Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance is a movie that very little to no one has liked. It was a fun film, not great but it was fun and I've felt since I saw the movie that EVERYBODY should give it a chance. Sure it's not the best CBM around but it certainly is a fun, good peice of film making and CBM's. As of right now, the film's gross is 122 million.
The Avengers: Part 1 of the two MUST NOT MISS movies this summer. It makes CBM history by being the first superhero team up to grace the big screen, after four years of 5 films building up towards the movie. FINALLY we get a film people have been waiting decades for. Directed and written by Joss Whedon, this film is sure to be a fun film with heart and a good story that no ones should forget. This should do extremely well at the box office.
The Amazing Spider-Man: This film is a slightly darker take on Marvel's Flagship character. Having a great cast and directors, there isn't a real reason why people should avoid it. This is another underdog of the four but it definately NEEDS a view. I don't picture this movie performing badly what so ever.
The Dark Knight Rises: Part 2 in the MUST NOT MISS movies of the summer. The conclusion of The Dark Knight Trilogy, we know for a fact that Christopher Nolan has something big planned for us. Is fans overhyping the film really necassary, no but it helps the film. I think it'll be better than The Dark Knight but that's just me and the Tom Hardy fan in me x3 We'll end the CBM year with a BIG bang but it'll definately worth viewing the films. All of the films. Probably the best year we'll have for CBM's unless next year's Iron Man 3, Thor 2 and Man of Steel can out best this year. Box office for this movie more than likely might be slightly better than The Avengers, but I wouldn't know. I'm no box office wizard x3
