Greetings friends. Well let me get started with this week in reviews. Today I will review Invincible Iron Man #25, THOR #609, All Hail Megatron vol 2, Mystic Arcana, and Ghost Rider: Hell Bent and Heaven Bound.

Invincible Iron Man #25- this issue is the FIRST of the Heroic age. This takes place post-siege and it's about Stark regaining his empire and a much more advance suit of the Iron Man armor. We are introduced to the Hammer family trying to take over where Stark left. We get a THOR and Reed Richards cameo's in this issue. The talk between Stark and Thor is great and heartfelt. The first time we see him in the new armor is at the end of the issue and WOW IS IT SO COOL HOW HE GAINS IT!!!! I won't spoil.lol. I give this issue a 9/10 for story, it was a great beginning and sets up for so much more. I give the art a 9/10, the design for the new Iron man suit is superb and the characters are really well done as always. A quick note: there is a panel that I noticed an error, its a Panel where Reed Richards has no hair on the top of his head but next panel its normal, a minor error but not too bad.

THOR #609- This is part 2 of the Siege arc involving Thor. We see ONCE AGAIN Asgard being toppled to the ground, but now from the perspective of the Asgardians. Thor is surprisingly absent in this entire issue, its more or less about Balder dealing with Loki...FOR ONCE. We finally see Balder doing something really really awesome and owns to the extreme. Loki is not dead but we finally see him being dealt with. I give this issue a 9/10, the story was great, engaging, and defined the characters much greater, and can't wait for the conclusion. I give the art a 9/10, very well detailed and there are scenes that showcase awe inspiring moments. Quick note: #610 is supposedly Kieron's end but he's to return with #612, not sure how this works when Fraction is taking over with #611, wait and see I guess.

All Hail Megatron vol 2- This is a great series and I'm glad to have found it and read it. The story picks up right where it leaves off in vol 1. The Decpticons have taken over the Earth, the humans plan on dropping a nuke, the autobots are on Cybertron, and Spike is on a mission. This vol is full of action and has some of the greatest battles in transformers history. We see the resurrection of our Deity( ALL HAIL PRIME*bows*) and the fall of evil. I give this series as a whole a 10/10 for story, this was a great re introduction to the loved and well deserving characters and the ending leaves so much room for development. I give the art a 10/10, they look like their G1 selves and its amazing. Like watching the 80's series brought to modern time. Quick note: I do know that there is in fact a continuation called Transformers but I will wait for the trades to read them.

Mystic Arcana- This sorta ties into one of my previous articles about not many magical titles out there. Well this one was a very interesting story and a well thought out story. The story is about a one time potential Sorcerer Supreme Ian McNee on a mission to set the magical balance right before it destroys itself. He needs to collect 4 cornerstones of magic. Each cornerstone is presented with with 4 stories that are overlapped with the McNee story. Each story follows 4 magical characters of the Marvel Universe: Magik, The Black Knight, Scarlet Witch, and Niko Minoru aka Sister Grimm. Each story is self contained to them-self and never really interact with one another but they are all presented very nice. I give each story an 8/10 and the art is different in every story so I can't score them as a whole but lets say each one gets an 8/10. Quick Note: this was the Hardcover and it contained so much extra stuff that was pointless, it was only showing us characters from the magical universe from Marvel.

And Finally Ghost Rider: Hell Bent and Heaven Bound- OH MY GOD THIS COMIC WAS AWESOME!!!!! THANK YOU DARTH MALDER FOR SUGGESTING THIS..... The story is about Johnny Blaze seeking out a way to get in heaven and finding an angel that has wronged him. This story follows Blaze in a small town and it is full of crazy people and questionable nurses. We are shown a lost and familiar face who is working for someone else. Last two issues art was different from the reat of the story but still great and entertaining. I give this a 10/10 for story, great action and solid writing. I give the art a 10/10, very stylized and crazy. Quick notes: I was sold after the first 2 pages of this. Also I'm looking forward to him being in the Shadowland event.

And there you have my weekly reviews. Stay tuned for my next set of reviews. Til next time BlackAirs out!!!

@anil, I'm sure Fractions Thor run will be much different than his Iron man run. He might write Thor in a way similar to JMS

@anil, I just read Iron man Thor when I got my free comics and he did a bit better with writing for Thor. As for the JRJR style thats gonna be used in AVENGERS...looks very much like KICK-ASS

I've only seen his work with Kick-ass, I heard some of his early work was great.

@anil...wow, those are some good points you bring up. We all have our opinions and we should respect them regardless of what others might think. I think your right that JRJR should do smaller things but I'm one who's open for anything aslong it looks cool. I thought maybe he would change it up a bit in terms of art style, because he was at a time able to do Leifeld style, which I know is bad but for a time was the big thing.

@anil...if Ross did avengers it would take forever to do an issue. Ross to me should be saved for big stuff

@anil, I could see him doing covers and one shots, but the stories would have to be really good and complement the artwork
