Greetings friends. This will more of a quickie review for these trade paperbacks. I read them all during a certain period of time. I just finished reading House of M not more than 5 minutes ago so its fresh in my head. With that let me begin.
Thor vol 3- The end of JMS run on Thor ends with a great bang. I really enjoyed this book. I love how much more involved it was and the way it concluded was great. I loved Loki being essentially the most important figure for before Siege and as Siege is occurring. I do love the look artist's work and then ending for it was powerful and everlasting. I'm enjoying everything post JMS too, I'm becoming a fan of Thor quickly. I give it a 10/10 for story and a 9/10 for art
House of M- after just finishing this very day in fact I have 2 words to say about it, really good. I thought this was a great event comic, and it was done really well. I'm reading these out of order but I'm able to piece things together now. I loved the overall idea, having an alternate world scenario and the moral questions it brings up. I only read the main event and none of the side ones which I'm sure add to the stories through out the main series but I only read a select few of them. I give this a 9/10 for story and a 9/10 for art
Justice League mini-series Justice- this series was AWESOME!!!! I really had so much fun with this read. I read all three over a time period and I really loved everything about it. The art style alone blew me away, Alex Ross is amazing at what he does. The story felt like a lost episode of Justice League unlimited. I would love to see this done as an Animated movie. The last vol was great in all of its action scenes. Each vol felt like a movie, it had a beginning, middle, and an climatic ending. I give the story a 10/10 and for the hell of it I'm giving the art an 11/10(its that awesome GO ROSS!!!)
til next time my friends, BlackAirs out!!!
