John Arturo - When did you start collecting and how did you get into the hobby?

Brandon Williams - A lot of my stuff is from my childhood, I'm 25 now and I just continue to grow my collection with every yard sale, flea market, or convention I go to.

John Arturo - Who is responsible for the Lobo piece? It looks absolutely tremendous!

Brandon Williams - That is a sketch from the great Art Baltazar, next to a signed copy of Tiny Titans #16 which is Coach Lobo's first appearance. I actually pitched the idea to the guys a few years back and they loved it, so I feel like it's my baby.

John Arturo - Do you collect anything else?

Brandon Williams - Hmmm, comics, toys, foreign movie posters, movies, and California Raisins...

John Arturo - What is your favorite collectibles company?

Brandon Williams - I couldn't choose a favorite, but if I had to I'd go with Bowen Designs.

John Arturo - What is your favorite part of collecting?

Brandon Williams - The reaction you get from people, and the memories it spurs in them. I have a Dead Eye Duck figure from the old cartoon Bucky O'Hare, a friend saw it and told me a very tender story about him and his brother, you know, we all had toys at one point.

John Arturo - What is the key thing you look for in an item you want to add to your collection?

Brandon Williams - Indivduality, I love a figure made after a strange person, I have a Jurassic park 3 figure only because it's the late great Pete Postwaithe, I also have the Nick Nolte Absorbing man from Ang Lee's Hulk, because when are you ever gonna get a Nick Nolte figure again?

John Arturo - What is your favorite movie?

Brandon Williams - Robocop, hands down.

John Arturo - What is your favorite piece from your collection?

Brandon Williams - Besides my Lobo sketch? My still sealed original run Raphael from 1988, only a year younger than me!

John Arturo - What are some items you are most looking forward to adding to your collection?

Brandon Williams - The Comic Con Lobo when that insane price breaks, some Robocop toys, and of course more comics.

John Arturo - Finally, what is your favorite aspect of ComicBookMovie.com?

Brandon Williams - Love the Fan Fic, hate the trolls, but my favorite thing is the news, I can get it from other sites, but they are just reporting it, you guys feel about the source material.

Also Brandon runs the site www.8DaysAGeek.com

Thanks guys,

@Wolverinedecade The White Ranger and Darth Vader Standees are both 6 foot tall as well.

@DiLusso I love Rising Stars, it's signed by JMS

@rrd518 Cable is one of my all time favorites, up there with Lobo and Green Lantern

The turtle bowl used to have a mug and spoon that changed colors as well, I gave the other two pieces to my two brothers.

Also, it's funny the amount of people who said "it brings me back" and "dead Eye duck" read the interview, I say that exact thing!

@brandonwlobo, I know exactly what you mean about the reaction people have. Everyone always "wishes they saved that thing", and then shares a story from their childhood. Makes me glad to know that our collections can bring a little joy not only to us, but to people who wish they had done the same thing. Maybe we are the odd ducks, (no pun intended), but we held on to a piece of our youth and continue to do so with each addition to our collections, and even help others flash back to a more care free time.

@Ghast so you have better now? A petty comment like that would only come from a 13 year old or a troll, so I'm guessing troll.
