This is how we will proceed from now on. If you have a collection (don't worry about the size, it could be 4-5 items and that is still a collection right?) and want me to showcase it on the site, then shoot me an email at "admin at lethalfarce.com" I will shoot you a few questions to answer to go along with the images and once a week we will showcase a users collection on here.
Since this is the beginning, I am using someone that isn't a user on here, but hopefully we will have users stepping up soon! So enjoy the first (of hopefully many) "CBM Collectors Collections"
John Arturo - When did you start collecting and how did you get into the hobby?
Jonathan Godinho - What attracted me to this hobby was when I watched Tim Burton's 1989 Batman Movie for the first time. My dad always collected comics and he got me hooked, at the age of thirteen I remember going into my local comic shop (silver snail) and picking up my weekly comics and I would always see these great statues and I remember saying to myself that one day I would start my own statue collection with all my favorite characters, and now 7 years later I can honestly say I have accomplished that.
John Arturo - Do you collect anything else?
Jonathan Godinho - No. I only collect high end collectibles.
John Arturo - What is your favorite collectibles company?
Jonathan Godinho - My favourite company's would have to be Hot Toys and Sideshow Collectibles.
John Arturo - What is your favorite part of collecting?
Jonathan Godinho - My favorite part of collecting is being able to display all my favorite characters from all my favorite movies. These collectibles that we collect are pieces of art that we as kid's grew up watching and to be able to display them is awesome!
John Arturo - What is the key thing you look for in an item you want to add to your collection?
Jonathan Godinho - The key thing I look for when purchasing a collectible is that the piece is high quality and that the likeness of the piece is spot on with the character being portrayed.
John Arturo - What is your favorite movie?
Jonathan Godinho - My favorite movie would have to be Tim Burton's 1989 Batman. This movie made Batman my favorite Hero, and joker my favorite villain.
John Arturo - What is your favorite piece from your collection?
Jonathan Godinho - Honestly, I don't have a favorite piece i really enjoy them all, Sideshow collectibles really ensure's that there products are perfect and they truly are. The silver surfer comiquette is amazing the likeness is spot on and the statue flows artistically.
John Arturo - What are some items you are most looking forward to adding to your collection?
Jonathan Godinho - From Sideshow collectibles im looking forward to the joker premium format, Thor Premium format, destroyer maquette, Wolverine legendary scale figure.
