Last night's Schmoes Know Podcast was jam packed with geek-related goodness. Joining them was the lovely Katee Sackhoff, who not only discussed her role in Riddick, but also some potential future projects. We already brought you the Captain Marvel stuff, but there's more! When asked about her love of the Harley Quinn character, Katee pretty much confirms that she's had discussions about a possible tv series based on the character. There's very little elaboration on the matter as it all still appears to be very hush hush, but click on the image below and jump to the 39:00 mark to see what you make of it.

I think Piper Perabo would do a good Harley. Just a thought. She has the look.

Ummmm hmmmmm if this is true then DC/WB is focusing on the wrong area. Hello you are just fine in the comic book, video game, animation, and live action T.V.. You suck at he live action movie dept, work on that.

NOOOOOO HARLEY QUINN has to be one of the most annoying characters. I think the animated series ruined her for me lol. But all those cosplayers give me real conflicting boners

Harley must be in "Flash" or in "Arrow". She could be in series before get work in Arkham in Gotham, working somewhere else. Or arrive from Gotham to... where it wll be need in tv series))

What are you talking about, Adamantium@? That was the best show ever and the character was created specifically for that show. Don't be conflicted. She's awesome! Get to work on those boners, m'man. She's worth it.

I am holding out hope that she is the character that they were casting for in Batman Vs. Superman, though. So I'm crossing my fingers that this TV rumor ain't true.

@DukeAcureds

why??? you might as well hire Schumacher again.

Hero24@ You don't think they could do a serious, gritty version of her? I mean, if they are taking inspiration from Dark Knight Returns, they could do a version of the Hunt the Dark Knight chapter but with Harley. Knda like how they clipped her onto the Laughing Fish adaptation, in Batman: TAS.
Just imagine it. Thycud merge the characters of Dr. Wolper and Bruno and have Harley break The Joker out of Arkham and go on a Natural Born Killers-esque killing spree across Gotham and maybe Metropolis. They could even get a version of Toyman in there.
That'd be kinda cool.

If done correctly and given her own purpose and drive Harley could really sell and be a top notch character.

I liked Mia Sara as an older Harley in Birds of Prey, with her subtle psychotic moments.
Not a solo show but I'd love to see a new Birds of Prey show, the first one was my guilty pleasure.

Or have her appear on Arrow.

I don't know I think the batman films are finally good they should stick with what works leave out campy characters. I think the Joker works better alone and doesn't need someone following him around calling him pudding. If they do it way she crazy not annoying maybe but I don't think she works. I don't think there going follow Dark knight returns that much just take elements from it. Ben needs prove he's good for batman he not going want stupid campy stuff in the film.

I am hoping for The ok at least, though. And a post-ledger Joker. Lets not go backwards and have the whole fallin into chemicals origin.
Jollem@ Heh. I know, right?

DukeAcureds

beto@ But only a little bit of fantasy. I mean, before Man of Steel came out we all just assumed that Batman could suddenly have Man-Bat and Kiler Croc and stuff like that, but even though Man of Steel is all about aliens and we've still got Amazons and Atlanteans and whatnot to come, I think that Man of Steel was actually really earnest in the same way that Batman Begins was. I think a degree of realism will still be employed with Batman and all the other characters. So I'd rather her just be portrayed as a really sick, psychotic individual, who likes to dress up like a clown.

Harley Quinn would work in a movie.
Either way, she should be played by Natalie Dormer

I always thought Fairuza Balk would've been a good Harley. I would say that she's too old, now, but she's not even 40, yet and I suppose it would be a more realistic take to have a 40 year old psychiatrist instead of say Katie Sakhoff or Kristin Bell.

Sure, we have an "older" Bruce Wayne now,
so why not an "older" Harley?

Fairuza Balk all the way! she's amazing.

Nice one, CherryB@. Dormer's a good choice, too. Shame she was never Madame Hydra, that would've been badass.
