Really good. Personally, I think Return of the Jedi would of been a masterpiece if Lucas [frick]ed off and let the writers do their thing.

The prequels have excellent stories but terrible execution. Although I'm no big Star Wars fan, in the originals it said how Anakin was a hell of a guy and Obi's great friend and student who gradually fell to the Dark Side over time and his transformation a shock. In the prequels they have Anakin be an evil, despicable dickbag from the beginning of Clones.

Like Sam's Channel said, one minute he's Anakin the selfless hero, the next a genocidal murder, the next a treacherous student who hates Obi-Wan, then a loyal student that loves his master Obi-Wan, the next a perverted freak, etc, etc.

seeing anakin become vader then padmine name the children at the end of revenge of the sith,makes that classic scene in empire when vader announces to luke "no,i'm your father" pointless.

it takes all the power out of the scene because the audiences already knows the outcome.

if you watch the films in order.

I think what gets lost is that Anakin was too old for Jedi training so his emotions were already set in place...its hard to let go of your emotions when youve experienced them all already...they took a risk bringing him in for training when they did...in the prequels they were very specific about taking him but they felt his potential for good was too great

Of all the things to choose from ANH he chooses the sandcrawler?

Those are great, but personally they should revolve around the central battles of the battles.

@beto

I think the prequel villains were cool in the concepts:

Darth Maul: Very cool but underused, underdeveloped and blah.

Count Dooku: Cool, but underdeveloped. However, Christopher Lee's performance makes me forgive everything.

Grevious: He sucked in the film if you ask me but in the cartoon from 2003 he was awesome. He rarely spoke but when he did his dialogue was smarter and cooler than "BLAH! JEDI SCUM! I'LL GET YOU NEXT TIME OBI-WAN!" *shakes fist in anger*

However, the Jedi in the prequels sucked completely. So stupid. They were even told in Attack of the Clones that the Senator was an evil usurper and the discovery of the unauthorized Clone army confirmed a conspiracy was but in place against the Senate... and they walk right into it by having an army of sleeper agents on their side lol.

@Batmaniac

Anakin came across as a hateable shit in Clones though. What's funny is that in Attack of the Clones, he slaughters an entire village of Sandpeople men, women and children. He kills them all. Men, women and children. In Revenge, he kills more innocent men, women and children and it's made a big deal of. Ah well. From the descriptions I've read of books based on the prequels, they sound better. They give a legitimate reason as to why he starts descending down the Dark Side and even why he killed Dooku. It links in with a Sandperson.

Troopers on Dewbacks actually fits the theme better, but I guess they needed the element of machinary with the SandCrawler. Awesome nonetheless.

These are great! On the ROTJ poster, it looks like Darth Vader is struggling in the lightsaber battle, while Luke Skywalker is standing strong.

That's nice foreshadowing.

These posters are cool, but I would have used the Jedi symbol instead of the rebel symbol again. After all it is "Return Of The Jedi".
